- Family and friends were shocked when Bishop Barnett K. Thoroughgood had just finished his sermon, took his seat, and died. Today, they remember a life deeply devoted to God... The Christian Broadcasting Network CBN www.cbn.com
To be absent of the body, to be present with the Lord... he sounds like he was a wonderful Christian man, that loved the Lord.
It's not a loss at all. "To live is Christ and to die is gain".
You are so right and it behooves us to be found ready and waiting when He calls us.
This proves God is in control.
he makes me proud to be a servant of the lord
2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith
He appears to be a great man. What a loss! I love that if he had to go now, it was as he wished!
He ask God to die preaching the word and thus it was god bless this man and let those who don't believe and make comments negative say whatever they want bless them and let us pray for everyone much peace and love and blessings to everyone
Sincerely brother Michael
God called his Angel home he will be missed but he is in a better place
He's actually resting in Jesus, waiting for the second coming. The dead in Christ shall rise first.
In Christ Jesus we are safe...It's appointed to all men to die once...after that judgment...
HE PREACHING IN HEAVEN
No. He's resting.
What a way to go
He went to go battle
It is never a good thing to speak against the man of God. There is only one perfect man and that is Jesus Christ. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of Gods glory. Even you.
Jesus said be perfect as my father in heaven is perfect
You can be perfect
God's smite.
He is not perfect. He is forgiven. God looks at him and sees His Son Jesus. These fleshly bodies cannot inherit Gods kingdom. Maybe your physique is perfect but you have other sins- possibly ones we cant see. THAT IS THE POINT. If you take your eyes off the church and follow Jesus you will see things in a whole new light.
You're right but, as I said before, if you want to be a Pastor you better have yourself in check. We give too many pastors a free pass. The church today is a joke.
Gluttony is a sin. It is a shame for someone to call themselves a Pastor and they can't even control their lust for food.
Sorry but you need to eat the Food that grows from the sun .Gods food//////// veggies no red meat no white bread /////You have to honor your own Temple.....Romans 8:11
I know that he would have lived longer if he had lost some weight. Too much fat around his heart.
His soul means everything to God and not his outer appearance
