- On the eternal hunt for more power, Jörg Sprave, owner of The Slingshot Channel, has created a new slingshot design that adds about 15 cm of draw length due to the pulley based extension.
The beautiful stainless steel slingshot employs a total of four hi tech ball bearings to ensure a smooth operation if the the pulleys. The slingshot is outfitted for the superior flat band rubber, which delivers more energy than the common tubular rubber types.
A specifically designed guide rod makes the operation of this slingshot as easy as using a conventional slingshot. - Спорт

The strain on the wrist is OK as the "fork" is not very high. The advantage is all in the effective draw length, you simply eliminate the "dead" play caused by the relaxed rubber.

I'm very happy you went on perfecting your awsome alu-W design even further. This one, with the added rubberlength and rollers must be the most powerfull slingshot yet! I am sooooo discouraged with flat bands they break too soon, i'm going to buy thera band Gold thats thick, great point almost lost an eye with a tube accident great touch!

Sorry if this is unrelated, but I've been trying to find the video of you shooting a spring-powered slingshot, as opposed to a rubber-powered model. I may be wrong, but I need to know if I'm chasing invisible elephants! Was that you, or somebody else?

I had been meaning to ask you this for a long time. I imagine you've been using slingshots for quite some time now, (very powerful ones at that). On many of your videos I have seen you stretch the rubber bands to what seem like critical lengths. Have the bands ever suddenly snapped and hit you in the face?
How often does it happen? Do the bands usually fail at the point where they attached to the frame or in the middle of the band?

Another excellent video and beautiful design, makes my old dogwood fork look very out dated.
One thing I would like to ask is, when are you going to put some of your bands and leather pockets up for sale?

@borntokillprod I made one a long time ago, but never presented it on yt as it did not work very good. So it must have been someone else.
That video was not mine, search for tetrahydrofuran's channel. Good video, my only point is that he does not wear safety glasses. He added some text, though.
I am not a certified welder, taught myself how to do it. The pros would probably laugh at me. I suggest you ask your neighbor how to do it. With welding, you can make any slingshot you like, lots of possibilities.

Looks like it was made to give you a bad backlash on your wrists from the rubber following through and hitting the underside of your arm... Very powerful looking slingshot though.
Ya he had a major accident he shot at something and missed and the steel ball came back and got stuck in his forehead and was gushing out blood
... I read rubber-powered model as rubber powered yodel.
