Well planned task!!! Brilliantly you guys moved the tanks, fishes so neatly packed and all the accessories!! Wow Wow Wow.. also you guys filmed it amazing! Enjoyed watching this video bros 🤓🤟🏼
Thank you! Tried to plan it out over past few months, and glad it all worked out 👍🏻
Those stairs looked pretty steep. Paul Cuffaro just broke on of his tanks on his lawn.
Man I know the struggle. I had to move from From Florida keys to north Florida 7 tanks. Let's say it was more expensive to move the fish than moving my family. Great video.
Haha definitely understand that. Seven tanks would be real tough. Hope it went well
Man, does this bring back memories. I moved my setups from apartment to apartment, from house to house and finally, when I was done with college, settled down and have been in the same house now for many years. When we talk about moving to a new house, I think about the fish room downstairs and have a little anxiety over it. LOL. Side note... I knew a guy back in the day who lived in a tent for one summer (after some unfortunate life changing events) and he set up his 40 Gallon in the tent with him, as not to give up his hobby or his fish... anyway, this just reminded me of the lengths we will go to take care of the things we love. Congrats on the move. As always, nice looking set ups. From your friends at the Gebo's Garage channel here in Detroit... cheers.
Definitely understand that anxiety. It’s always stressful, but once it’s done, it’s such a great feeling to enjoy the tanks in the new space. Thanks for watching - cheers!
Moving aquariums always sucks, but setting them up is always fun!! 🤣
Totally. I was stressed for months about moving, but definitely relieved that it’s over 👌🏻
Congrats on the new place Troy! The pond out back is awesome and I can't wait to see the new tank go in.
Mitch's Fishes thanks, Mitch! Excited to finally have some space 👌🏻
I really appreciate you guys. I just got a 36 gallon tank and I already have a 16 gallon. I'm looking to move and the thought of doing it with fish was really stressing me out before
Best of luck with the move!
You made this look realistic and took stress off of the idea of moving for me. Well done!
Awesome. Best of luck!
This is timely! We move in about a month and I’m not looking forward to moving my 125, 75, and 60g tanks
Hope it was helpful, and best of luck with your move!
Awesome the new house has a great basement plenty of space for aquariums very nice koi pond.
Thanks! Can’t wait to grow the setups 👍🏻
My flat is going to be demolished in the future,so I will have to learn how to move my 55 gallon reef tank👍
Good video
Thank you, and best of luck with the reef tank!
Great video, Thanks for the tips😊
No problem!
Congrats on the new house ! Look diesel to the new bigger tanks 👌
Thank you!
Very nice vid! Congrats with the Ne house! I wish you guys all the best, greets from Belgium.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it
8:23 fulfillment. it's worth all the hard work. great job! 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
Most definitely! 🤙🏼
Awesome.....been through this a time or two in my life....sucks but it is what it is....have a great time this summer at the new house bros 👍
Definitely. It was a long stressful day, but very excited to enjoy in the new house. Have a good one guys!
That pond at the end❤
Loving the koi pond!
I'm selling my 125 to a buddy, and he wants my exact setup, so thanks for this.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for tips! Love your fishes!
Nice move! I’m near by in prospect heights but moving further north to grayslake. I have a 32 gallon saltwater…anxious about having to move it!
Thanks! Good luck on the move 👍🏻
Thank YOU!!! This is so helpful!!
Glad it’s helpful!
Walmart sells expensive 'food grade' 5g buckets, use those. Just make sure they are not contaminated, like a Home Depot bucket. Use a food grade BPA free container when transporting and clean it with tank water.
**Your tank looks well done, I like it!
Home Depot buckets are food grade :) the orange ones are at least
Grt team work..good job
Thanks!
The struggle is real. My girlfriend and I just made an offer on a house, it was accepted pending inspection... not looking forward to the move..........
Nice man, congrats! Good luck on the inspection and the move 👍🏻
Thank you for the video
I have to move a 110 gallon tank, that is on heavy buffet cabinet. I need to move it maybe 5 feet. To have new flooring installed. I don’t want to take out the fish. It is very thick glass.
PS, you could probably do goldfish. My parents had goldfish in their outdoor pond. That thing would freeze over with a couple inches of ice**** from time to time and the fish were alive and well in the spring. Pretty sure you get colder weather than Washington, but goldfish may be an option. They get big in a pond too.
I’ve been debating on goldfish actually. Might be one of the better options to keep in there over winter. Lot of research to do lol
Cichlid Bros they get big in a pond. Everyone thought they were young koi lol. Watch out for predator birds, make sure the fish have a nice hiding spot or they will turn into a nice bird snack 😂
NW Aquahobby very good advice! Gotta watch out for that 😂
Try giant gauramis for the pond
Is this possible with travel nursing? I’m planning to get a 75 gallon and having a pickup truck to help move everything.
Hey, love Ur tanks. BTW wat kind of sand is that in Ur tank and I believe u have one green (Rotkeil) Sevrum?
Hey, thanks! The sand is actually mixed african cichlid sand from Carib Sea. I currently have three severums, the red spotted and turquoise in the 75, and a small red shoulder in the 38
@@CichlidBros alright, thanks so much
I have the same exact tank and bottom. Only moving it from one room to the next so not draining it all the way. any suggestions on how to lift?
Maybe some livebearers or some locally caught fish depending on the laws. The locally caught fish would already be accustomed to the temp fluctuations.
Great idea. Going back and forth between native species or a few koi. Either way getting stocking soon!
Nice video!
Thanks!
Love the channel guys
Thank you - glad you’re enjoying the content!
Cichlid Bros looking at converting my 220 with similar stock as your 75 with jack salvini and convict and GT any other stock ideas ?
michael levesque nice! A few other cichlids that could likely go well with those guys would be firemouths, oscars, severums, green Texas, or red terrors. Although they are all pretty aggressive, so back up plans are always good to have
Cichlid Bros nice I have Oscar and red severum I was planning to add would silver dollars shoal break up the tension or cause world war 3 lol
Hoping to move my 40g with the sand in, all that is in there is a single common goldfish with 2 sponge filters ill keep in a bucket with water
Best of luck
Wow your tanks are awesome, Btw thanks for the sub
Matthew’s Aquatic’s thank you and no prob!
great video!!
Thanks!
@@CichlidBros No prob, hey could I mabye have a shoutout
I have a 100 Gallon fish tank that has 10 cichlids. I am putting new flooring. Would it work if we get a pond liner that holds 50 to 100 gallon put the fishes in there with filter while flooring is done and then move them back to the 100 gallon fish tank? How long would I be able to keep the fishes in the pond liner if possible? Thank you!!
Hi cichlid bros welcome to Arlington height congratulations to new place hope you enjoy Arlington heights very nice area I'm live Schaumburg just 15 minutes away from Allenton height i hope we meet one day good luck
Pond looking good i hope you used pond for cichlids but i know Chicago Weather not good for cichlids in winter times For pond you have to watch for the pund guy UA-cam channel is so much information about pond good luck have fun
Thank you! Happy to be in the new location - very cool that we’re close by. I’m diving into a lot of pond videos lately and adding that to the list 👍🏻
It's very good place for pond St Charles IL its cell aquascape you have to check out best place and you make very good video for UA-cam i send you address 901 Aqualand Way, St. Charles, IL 60174
Check it out
Does it matter what type of plastic tub you use? I’m trying to transport a *black ghost knife* 2 hours away from a 20 gal to a 55. He is 12 inches or more so I don’t see him going into a Home Depot bucket
Most plastic totes will be just fine as long as they’re sturdy enough to hold water
Nice vid bro
Thank you!
Goldfish would probably work for the pond. Quite tough, and don't get as big as koi. Wakin goldfish look especially awesome in a pond.
Like the idea!
How did you guys regulate the temp in the buckets
Well fancy goldfish would probably be good for the back pound
Maybe one day. Went with koi
Do u guys worry about floor loading weight support with larger tanks over 200 gallons?
Yeah if it’s not on the ground floor, would definitely recommend approval from an engineer and/or reinforce the floor
@@CichlidBros it’s a rental property so will be difficult to ascertain but I heard about a 1 square meter floor supporting 1,000 kgs of weight …. ?
Hello there, would I need to have the filtration set ups if im only moving about 10-15 min away?
I would just recommend keeping the filter media wet so the bacteria doesn’t die off completely
@@CichlidBros Gotcha, thanks!
What’s the biggest jack dempsey you’ve seen or heard about? I read an article that said they get 15 inches.
That would certainly be a large JD! I think they largest I've seen in person were around 10-12 inches, but I'm sure there are exceptions.
Cichlid Bros thank you, it really helped me out !
I don't know if it can work but how about outdoor African cichlid pond
Definitely considered this, but I think they’d need a powerful heater or to be brought inside during the winter. I like the idea though
I came up with that idea a friend of mine's her father has a a koi pond in his backyard that's how I came up with an African cichlids pond he keep them outside I don't know how he do it but yeah here in Chicago
Recently I have moved from 75 g to 125 g..I decided to purchase a kids pool which could accommodate all my fish and Aquarium water..but it was just moving my fish to new tank..
Very nice!
Go whit kois!
Definitely considering!
"Moving large tank "
Me: so how do I move my 3meter tank ?
Where's the large aquarium at?
😂
All about perspective
These aren't large.
Cool
