Love my X, drives like a tank, 4wd comes in handy when it’s muddy and snowing. The xterra handles it like a pro, wouldn’t expect anything less.. Jeep does well too gotta give it props!

However the old Cherokees, XJ, are solid vehicles. Don't get me wrong they have their issues, but they are good vehicles. What were you referring to with your comment?

Is your wj the v8 version? I want to buy one of these rigs but I’m not sure which one.. I think WJ is easier to work on and cost less but the X is a bit newer and likely has more power correct me if I’m wiring
@@slysimon8533 wj has more problems due to engineering but the v8 has no lag like the super on an x...coilover suspension on strait axles are solid and superior over the x. but the x feels like it has more room inside. The wj feels more balanced around corners at speed, and has the option to flex. Also you don't worry about the death wobbles on the X...
@@paulcondie2520 i bought mine with 115,000 miles and sold it with 154,000 miles. Most of those miles were off roading. Only reason I sold it was because I bought my 22 frontier. I think timing chain guides should be replaced at 100,000. But I never did it lol

Nissan did no one favors putting that SOB down low where the mug gets into it. not only is it a pain in the butt to R&R, but its expensive to boot. Rugged Rocks makes a High Output and if you believe the internet tougher model but they all get trashed when going through the mud and water. Ill never need a snorkel now because I take great pains to stay out of the deep stuff.

I love my xterra! It’s proven itself in the snow around here, so far. Can’t wait to take it on some off-road trails when the snow melts.

Awesome! Yes I trimmed the bumper for looks. The Xterra never broke down on me and would go anywhere the jeeps would go.
