I just got one. It played ok out of the box. Pickups were just ok. I replaced the pickups with Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF pickups I polished the frets and I took the nut off and sanded it down to lower it. Now it plays and sounds great. My band matés complimented me on the tone and looks.
Hey Sascha ALL you guitars sounds SO amazing and of course youre playing is excellent. Another great video! I'm getting very fond of Harley Benton and thinking of picking up one of their other Tele style guitars one of the two blue ones....
I have the first Fusion T and was hoping they would release the new ones with some quality single coils but alas they havent, this is a pity as a traditional high end model is something a lot of people would like and purchase in high numbers, of that I am confident. I guess I will have to keep waiting although I dont think it could be called Fusion but Traditional Pro would be a nice moniker!
Given that you also reviewed the TE-62, you seem like a perfect person to ask this question. I actually own the TE-62 and after making some upgrades to it (locking tuners, new bridge, and pickups) I like it a lot but I wish that: 1) It had humbuckers. 2) It was just a hair lighter and/or better balanced. 3) Had even a very slight forearm cut. 4) The neck was just a tiny bit slimmer. Does the Fusion-T HH HT improve on some of those points? Thanks in advance for the answer!
I got the TE-62 early this year and was really happy about it. That lead me to the fusion and especially exactly the one you reviewed. You said in the video that it was good for the high gain tones, do you think this is a good option as a "metal guitar"? Otherwise i probably will get one either way and then replace the pickups, everything lese is exactly what i am looking for :)
Hey David, playability wise it definitely works for metal, the pickups are always a bit subjective. For me the pickups would work for metal, for someone else maybe not. So I would try it, if you don’t like them you can still replace them. Or if you don’t like the guitar in general (what I don’t think), you can just send it back 😊
That is an amazingly beautiful guitar. I'm not a fan of the Roswell pickups, but with whatever amp and setup you have going, they actually sound pretty good. I'm tempted to order one of these, but I have serious doubt i'd get one as nice as you did.
Ich habe die in grün... beste Gitarre, die ich je hatte, aber ich hatte auch noch nie eine, die teurer als 600 Euro war. ;) Mega Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
Any other issues because I am considering buying this one but a gloss dark pink one that is cheaper? A couple of commentators mentioned quality control issues. I don’t know if the Squier Contemporary Telecaster might have better quality control? I don’t know which one between the two to choose?
@@markflores2475 Squier recently manufacturing out of China has been a great move - the QC is tons better (moreso than Mexican IMHO). But they're also getting more expensive. There's pros and cons with both HB and Squier but the resell value will be better on the latter I'd imagine. I wrote a review on the Thomann page for this guitar so check that out (the silver sparkle hardtail). I'd say try before you buy but you can't do that with HB. If it's a mod platform, either would work. I've been playing mine ever since I got it, it's solid. A proper workhorse
@@zahirmawji3178 thanks, I appreciate your advice. The Harley Benton Fusion T HH HT in dark pink is in stock and it’s part of the pro series like yours and has everything the same other than the chrome covered humbuckers and fancy finish. It will cost me $343.14 to have it shipped.. The silver sparkle version will cost me $418.38. Both would be less than what the Squier Contemporary Telecaster is going for on Reverb. So in your opinion, the Squier would have greater resale value?
Hello. I like your reviews. They are quite objective. And you play well. As for the guitar. Judging by your review, and the reviews of other bloggers, vulture is really good. Preliminary heat treatment gives hope for its stability. The guitar looks good. As for the purchase of this instance. The sound of the guitar corresponds more to the level of home music playing. Although in general, the line is positioned by the manufacturer as a professional one. Pickups and electronics can be replaced. But the weight of this solid-body guitar is only 3kg. And that's how much my semi-acoustic PRS SE Zach Myers weighs. And it is also very comfortable, comes with a concert bag. At the same time, it sounds great. The cost is 890 euros. The other guitar is much heavier. Almost 4 kg. She has 2 Gibson BurstBucker humbuckers, 50s Wiring mit CTS Potis und Mallory Kondensatoren, hard case. This is the Epiphone 1959 LP Standard. In my opinion, the most successful LP option, if Gibson is not for your budget. And this guitar sounds good too, and it's comfortable. So as I understand it, the Harley Benton Fusion-T HH HT is a good, beautiful instrument. With a convenient neck. Lock pegs and hard bridge, combined with fried maple fingerboard, will provide the owner with comfortable learning and playing music at home. If you want more- modification, or consider other options. Good luck to everyone.✌
My HB Fusion had horrible unfinished frets and sharp fret ends. The customer service was horrible. It cost me a lot to have the frets fixed, the knobs were loose, making the guitar very expensive! I won't buy a HB again.
You could raise the pole screws, it would make the pickups sound brighter and a bit less volume drop when splitted. You could additionally also swap the saddles with brass ones for 15€ (ebay).
I set my eyes on buying a Sire T7. The reviews are good and I would love a white Telecaster. Harley Benton don’t do TE-62 or any of their Fusion guitars in white.
@@peteralbertthomas the Sire T3 seems quite good too! It's a shame Sire doesn't have a distributor in Western Canada (don't know about the rest of the country).
I ordered this same guitar from Thomann based on the excellent reviews on yt. It was a horrible experience all round unfortunately. Lost package, found then arrived with footprints all over the box. Cosmetic damage to the guitar then to top it off one of the poorest constructed guitars I've ever seen. Looked beautiful but was a complete dog. I understand I was probably unfortunate but I'll never buy another HB guitar or buy from thomann again.
My experience is not great too. I got the Daphne blue one. Big dent on the finish, impossible pickups height adjustment, impossible intonation adjustment, bad tuners alignment, poorly cut nut, scratchy frets and just ok pickups sounds. I was planning a big upgrade as the neck is good and guitar is good looking but it's not worth it. I'm really deceived.
How many Harley Bentons have you bought? I own eleven guitars. Four of them are from HB. Only one has had an issue. The fret ends needing dressing. I did this myself. My HB baritone will be here tomorrow.
@@charlesharper7292 You know Ibanez, Fender, Gibson, Jackson, Yamaha etc. I have many guitars and one is HB, the electronics are unfortunate, the pickups are a joke, they have a lot to learn. They are low-end guitars and it shows. That's the truth, the day you have a €8,000 guitar in your hands, tell me your opinion.

Yes totally agree! A traditional "high" priced HB Tele would pretty fast be a top seller I guess
That guitar is sooo beautiful.
I received mine and I am replacing the pickups with a pair from a PRS S2 594 McCarty
Great video ! Can you tell me the dimensions of the neck ? Thickness in the first fret and 12th ??? Thanks in advance !
Thanks for showcasing this awesome guitar! The top is beautiful, too bad the back isnt the same instead of that dreaded black!
I am considering this guitar in black/red.
The bend quality at 13:17 is too good for this price lmao
that's a great high gain sound, sounds pretty close to metallica's ride the lightning
