I gotta say, those dram toppers are easily my favorite and most used whiskey accessory. Anyone who doesn't own one is really missing out! We use them constantly. Jean and I almost bought this single malt the other day and switched to the new Smokehouse Rye cask strength instead.

As I've been saying for years (maybe you remember): Park on the Lawn!
See, the idea is: if you're parked on the lawn and you drop a bottle of Whisky, it will go "thud" on the grass and dirt. When you park in the driveway and you drop a bottle, it hits the pavement, concrete, a hard surface and it breaks.
I park in my driveway but I make sure any bottle, package, or box is not where it could fall out when I open the passenger side door, etc. and when I do open the door I then very carefully lift my package or box as if I think a bottle could manage to drop and hit the driveway. So far, so good...

Great review...for the price on this one it looks an easy to one to skip for now and explore better options. Would love to see another round of 5 bourbons/ryes/scotch/irish that you've been going back to.

I thought the finish was a little off, but I liked the nose and pallate. The price point could drop about 10 bucks.

Interesting thoughts guys! I was underwhelmed! I admit I have a definite bias for delicious single malt Scotch! Westward isn't bad and has one expression I had enjoyed but overall I am what I call a true Scotch lover! I wouldn't buy another bottle of this whisky. I have to say most people I know who have tried this whisky haven't enjoyed it enough to buy a second bottle. I love your reviews. You guys crack me up!! 🙂
