Thank you! I liked your straight forward and calm instruction! I was shocked when you stated your age! I thought at least 10 years less than what you said! Keep the wheels turning!
Hi Melanie, Sorry about the delay in responding to your note. I am now 80 and am still riding. This bike computer is a little tricky. I had to reset my time and had to go back to my own video to see how to do it. I hope your cycling is going well. Thanks for commenting.
Kudos on riding at 78-years old. I am 69 . . . riding again after suffering Guillain-Barre' sixteen years ago! I have this computer and the wheel size setting did not compute proper distance, so I had to manually adjust it by taking a known distance route and adjust the millimeter circumference until the distance matched. I'll use your instructions to try again . . . maybe I missed something.
I followed these settings to configure my unit but it wasn’t capturing any data. Turns out I didn’t have the magnet close enough to the reader. Good to go now! Thank you! Great video!
Your welcome. I just watched it again to refresh my memory on how to change the time and noted I hadn't responded to your comment. Thanks for watching. Sincerely, Jim
Thanks so much for this extremely clear, and helpful video! The instructions included with the device are terrible...exactly the opposite of your instructive video. Much appreciated.
Great video....very easy to follow! Thank you! Do you know if there's a way to change what's displayed on the screen. I would like to be able to see my current speed and cadence along with my average speed on the same screen.
The scan function is the last screen when pressing the front button. When selected it goes through your data points sequentially while you are riding. If you select to use the scan function in the primary set up it will ask you which data points you want to see. My scan is time, distance, cadence and clock. When riding and I press the front button and advance to scan these data points rotate every do seconds or so. I Hope this is helpful.
I was hoping to see what it takes to pair my new heart rate monitor. My first was the Bontrager HRM, but that stopped working so I just picked up a Wahoo. Don't remember what I did to pair my first one.
Ah ok! I haven’t mount it yet. Ive only made the First settings, the Ridetime is resting on the kitchen table waiting for outdoor season😅. But if i get you right / my Ridetime Will not shut of at all? Thanks for your help!
This is the best tutorial for this cycling computer. Thank you so much!!!😊
I'm glad that this video was helpful. Ride on. 🚴♂️

Thanks for commenting. Still have some tread on this old frame.
Jak ustawic żeby na głównym ekranie był prędkość?
I have watched your videos numerous times after buying this computer. They are a HUGE help! Thanks!
Thanks. I rewatch them myself. 😊
Hi Mr. Baldwin, Thanks so much for the video - you made it easy! I’m 71 and getting back to Road riding… glad to see you’re 78 and still riding!

Perfect...and yes you look way younger than your stated age. Keep on riding!
Thanks! Will do!

Very good video, very helpful THANKS
Great video that helped me tremendously -- thank you! Also, you are very inspiring :)
Thanks for this Lester! I am having issues getting my computer to find the magnet! I must have remounted the "dongle" 20 times. Not sure what to do!!
Do you need a power meter for this , or does the duo trap sensor read your power.
Thank you

Thanks so much. I still have some things to learn about this computer but I like it a lot.

From what I've seen on mine, the RIDEtime Elite isn't that sophisticated. I use Ride with GPS on my phone for rides where I want to see more at once.
Just wanted to know what does the SCAN function do in a Bike Computer?

Hello! I just finished setting up my bike computer and the speed isn’t showing up. It is only showing 3 lines. What should I do?
When I have already set it up and I ride after a day what should I do to enter ride mode I have pushed every button and I am still not able
I've got the same problem can't find the timer display or trip meter
Great video! If you have a fan club I'm going to join it. :-)
Does this tell you how many calories you burned?
I have the same one and mine does.
Nice vid! But please, anyone nows how to turn the computer off? I
Just bougth mine on internet and cant figure it out 😂
The computer starts up automatically when you mount your bike. The computer shuts off automatically when not use.
Ah ok! I haven’t mount it yet. Ive only made the First settings, the Ridetime is resting on the kitchen table waiting for outdoor season😅. But if i get you right / my Ridetime Will not shut of at all?
Thanks for your help!
I hated the start button.
