It’s easier to use when the soil has some moisture.
Its so nice to just disturb all the soil so no weeds grow at all.
Im sorry but this is called a Weed teaser. Get a Fiskars 39" weeder. This is basically a brush for some unknown reason

Does it actually pull the entire root out of the ground of the weed?
Yes, if you get to them early enough. You might have to dig a little for the more stubborn weed.

It's a shitty version of a hoe....
It gets a portion of the root, it cuts it off at the level that you dig down with this tool.
Except it doesnt get the root out & grows right back
It will. Not with the scraping motion, but you csn use it to dig also. It removes the entire root.
Does it get the whole root of the weed though? Because if not it will grow back in days/weeks ?
it looks like it does not get the weerd by the root, that is a problem.

Seems like for $80 to $100 can get the small electric tiller for the weeds.
You should make one and post a video of your work since it’s such a simple tool.
@@Mdouglas6217 I use a basic hoe. It works fine and I can get the the entire root fully out easy -so won't come back. I was interested in options to the basic tried & true garden hoe but there is nothing better FOR THE MONEY than my trusty hoe, I won't go into my garden without it. There are PLENTY of videos showing how to use the basic garden hoe.
That other thing is ridiculously priced. Sorry, but these places are ripping people off. A hoe does the same thing for less than 1/2 the price, bottom line they are both VERY SIMPLE tools
So yes, I double down...that thing is a simple tool priced like it's NOT just a loop attached to a stick. You can charge what every you want for it, SOME people will buy it regardless.
Feel free to buy me one and I will use it to make a video praising it like the best thing since sliced bread and say "NOW weeding is as easy as cutting butter!, you can watch TV drink a beer and weed at the same time" 🤭👎

@@Mdouglas6217 You are confused. I bought a basic full size hoe 3 years ago for less than $10. Just a month ago upgraded to a heavy duty hoe for $14. You are used to paying double. You must be very smart. I need your home number, I have some land with an ocean view that I want to sell you. Please forward your info right away.
If you do this before adding a layer of weed suppression like cardboard or Mulch or Plywood, it would help a lot.
The weed suppression cardboard or mulch or plywood should prevent the weeds from growing through that, less with mulch because it will just grow up through whatever you use. If you use another type of weed blocker, weed seeds will still be blown there by the wind and grow on top of the weed blocker, if this answers your question.
Weeds will always be an issue that’s why weeding tools and/or chemicals will always be used. I use vinegar or vinegar in a steam cleaning device.
I'm sorry but it looks like someone put a shovel handle on the other end of the tool and called it a day.
