Werner and Kessler will definetly be featured in my future animations. Since Kharkov 1, I have always wanted to delve deeper with their characters and why they are fighting. Maybe in the next film these two feature in we will be able to see more of them.
I want to see more Franz. I straight up named one of my Lego German soldiers that. He has the same face to. You also got me into LEGO WW2 and stop-motions.
Interesting combination of lego stop motion and ... real animation? ))) I mean grass, trees... they are drawings or what? In any case that's a great film and I don;t know why youtube don't recomend it.. I found it only because I was searching through your new videos manually
The trees and grass are cgi. I was unable to afford real grass n tree parts. Thanks! I don't know why either. I keep checking the search algorithm daily to see how its doing and it keeps falling into 3rd place or 4th on the first page. I just don't know why alot of my videos are slumping tbh 😕
The effects are really nice , despite being a little heavy. Sounds are spot on and the stop motion is very smooth as a whole! Gunshots are also perfectly done
Not bad. It was awesome. Good animation, good effects, everything was incredible!. I was waiting for this during months and this not dissapointed me, good job Jed, probably you Will do better animationd than this awesome Second Battle of Kharkov. Jed. Keep it up...
Yes it was. There were several axis power groups involved in this battle but I couldn't cover all of them, so I decided to include the Italian forces to help further their recognition.
We finally hit 10,000 views peeps! Thank you all so much for supporting my film thus far and hope that it continues to grow, I couldn't ask for a greater fan base!
Really? Thats amazing! I wasn't going to include the rockets in the last film, but thanks to the input from a close friend, I decided to add it back in.
Thank you, and yes, although the story focuses on Franz I also wanted to point out that there were other axis forces serving in this conflict, maybe someday I will make an animation focusing just on the Italian army during ww2.
JedAnimationStudios i know it was about Franz but italian in a lego ww2 stopmotion havent seen one until now and iam glad you put other axis in the stopmotion because other axis forces are not getting any credits. And i hope you make a stopmotion that focusses about the italians
This animation and sound design is awesome. But I’m my opinion the foggy overlay could have been omitted. It seems a bit blurry to me. Overall really nice!
I was actually going to do more shorts about Franz and his squad so I could one day combine them into a bigger film about the German side of ww2, the final would be a lead up to another feature I hope to make someday
Fantastic!! Good animation. Is an Italian soldier at 1:08?? I saw the different uniform with the necktie 👔 that only Italian wore in ww2. However if I’m not wrong, there weren’t Italian troops in Kharkov. All in all it’s a great ww2 film🎥👍🏻
For the majority of my stopmotion I use a logitech c920 webcam, it's good having a camera attached to ur computer to u can look back on shots with the hassle of accidentally tilting the camera
In truth I wanted to add more and ai had a bigger story planned for this film in particular. But I hadn't uploaded a new film in three years and I really wanted to get this one out the way to carry on with more ambitious projects like Crete and such.
Such a stunning animation! The only thing I'd suggest to improve is the pronunciation of some of the Russian words. Other than that it's great in every way.
If you enjoyed this film feel free to check out my latest ww1 animation in the link below!

This film is flawless. The sound effects are on point, the stop motion is more than smooth, and the fighting scenes are so entertaining!
Thank you 😊
Except guns don’t click repeatedly when out of ammo
Not to mention historically correct
Finally another Animation!
Not bad at all. Smooth as can be.
Thanks man, but mind u, Ive decided im not happy with using tons of cgi in my films, I think from now on its only gonna be models.
That's a great decision in my view, I don't like alot of CGI in aniamtions.
You used Italians right?
@@rgcproductions6220 yes I did, custom made by united bricks
yes
Coming back on this nearly 2 years later. I'd say this is one of the best and underrated films.
Oh that was really good, man. Glad to see some of your content once ina while. Well done and keep up the good work!
Fantastic job! Very well made !
Thank you my friend 😊
I think Werner is one of my favourite characters in this the fact he's a sharpshooter and always survives I wonder if he will in future films.
Werner and Kessler will definetly be featured in my future animations. Since Kharkov 1, I have always wanted to delve deeper with their characters and why they are fighting. Maybe in the next film these two feature in we will be able to see more of them.
Which one is Kessler, where do you see him at?
4:18 that's Kessler
I want to see more Franz. I straight up named one of my Lego German soldiers that. He has the same face to. You also got me into LEGO WW2 and stop-motions.
Awesome work man good to see you back!
Thank you, its good to be back at my craft 😊

Wonderful animation Jed! Loved it! I particularly liked the close-up shots of the fighting - made it very intense! Great stuff :)
Thank you, I was aiming for intensity in this film, and the music has a big impact on the overall thing
This was pretty intense! Great job

Thank you to all my supporters helping Kharkov 2 reach its first 50,000 views milestone. I hope it continue to keep up!
What happened to roglaan customs ive tried to go to there website but it doesn't exist
I think its because bricklink was bought by LEGO not long ago and went on a purge getting rid of none lego related items like Brickarms and such.
Thats hella gay
JedAnimationStudios could you consider making a battle of narva? I would really like to see that. Nice animation
The effects are really nice , despite being a little heavy. Sounds are spot on and the stop motion is very smooth as a whole! Gunshots are also perfectly done
Thank you

Thanks for ur comment and feedback. Ive checked out ur channel btw, u have some really cool vfx techniques
JedAnimationStudios thanks :)
Amazing your so good at this
Perhaps after the third and fourth battle of Kharkov could you consider doing more videos of the eastern front showing this specific squad?
I was actually going to do more shorts about Franz and his squad so I could one day combine them into a bigger film about the German side of ww2, the final would be a lead up to another feature I hope to make someday
Cool
Very good animation
Great
Great video
Good stuff
Thanks man, good to hear from u again 😀
Nice animation
We hit 80,000 views!
Im one of them
The video for the First Battle was better but good job
I agree, I am planning on going back to basics in my next film
When your weapons run out of ammo, the next things to use as a weapon is the back end of your rifle or a shovel

And this is very good video
This is amazing how long did it take to make?
Amazing! What type of camera would I use to film a stop motion?
For the majority of my stopmotion I use a logitech c920 webcam, it's good having a camera attached to ur computer to u can look back on shots with the hassle of accidentally tilting the camera
Good!Good!
perfectmovie!
Nice!
That Soviet officer got shot so hard he lost his facial hair.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaay finally a part 2!!!
Im kind of dissapointed because the sound effects of the kar98 is a sound effect of an ak from counter strike
Nice. i just got a message from you. Your a great person
3:12 VeRy GoOd.
The five battle of kharkov, soviet union victory.
amazing cgi
Good job
great, but wish it was just the battle and not a story about Franz.

Such a stunning animation! The only thing I'd suggest to improve is the pronunciation of some of the Russian words. Other than that it's great in every way.
Thank you. And yes, I used some voice overs from an old video game way back when that were similar to the orders I wrote on the script. Thank you
How do you made this fire in front of the guns?
Fantasic Job.
Impressive! Top fan!
