Good Question, imagine you have hosted your application in multiple EC2 instances to serve more users using Elastic load balancer.. every EC2 instance have some webserver and you need to change some configuration for that webserver in multiple EC2 instances.. then, ansible will take care of doing those configurations on your behalf automatically...
