- Professor Patrick Minford from the Cardiff Business School on the importance of Milton Friedman in modern free market economic theory.
A concise guide to the ideas and influence of the free-market economist is available from the iea:

I do like Minford but where I hear the other economists speak it just reminds me how unbelievably excellent Milton Friedman was. I only wish he had lived a few years more to warn against Obama's Keynesian approach to the financial crisis.
I love the terminal-esque effect. It reminds of me "linux's" application "Cool Retro Term".
How does Friedman, Hayek, Smith and Mises all differ from each other?
why was the IEA against Brexit?
Maybe because of free trade?
It wasn't, it was split. The head of the IEA supported Brexit.
lmao bustling cardiff, meanwhile the streets are almost empty around him
Video is too short!
Thatcher followed Hayek and Friedman and ruined Britain and destroyed the industrial base of Britain.
Milton Friedman wasn't in favor of laissez-faire capitalism, so you ought not ascribe him the appellation of "free market master." A better, and more accurate, label would be: "mixed market master." I wish he saw capitalism as Ayn Rand saw it; she's the only real defender of capitalism. The rest just give it lip service.
