Hell yeah! Been a long while since the last pod, great to have my favorite watch podcast back. Also, nice new recording setup, and congrats on the Delugs sponsorship! Congrats Craig, Ben, and Derek!
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.
Best diver under 1k has got to be the Doxa Sub 200! Colorful dials or all-purpose white/black dials, great bracelet, sapphire insert bezel, reliable movement, amazing value
Even though I normally wear a diver as my daily gada, I’d probably choose my Alpinist (Sarb017) as the one and only. It can be worn on the mountain, has more than enough WR to go under water and can be easily dressed up for a special occasion. Classy and capable. When it comes to the pilot category, the SNK/SRPH series are spot on, whereas the SSK023 style is more of a field with GMT capabilities. Good video, guys.
On a historical based pilots watch, the difference between it and a field is mainly the triangle @ 12 and pilots generally don't have the military time on the dial. New pilots watches are a little more varied, but generally have several complications like a chronograph or world time bezel.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
@ Thank you! If I’m looking to spend on a quality daily driver. Can you give me your opinion on the Maen Manhattan with upgraded movement for a little over $1k or do I go all in on a Oris Aquis or Longines Hyrdoconquest? I have small wrists :/
Very good video with great example of taste in all your choices. The intro choices, especially the Murph and Alpinist, encompass an amazing all rounder qatch under $1000. For divers, I would also add the Yema Superman. Recently got the special Air Force edition and the quality, history and design is more than intriguing.
One watch under 1K. For me, I’m currently in a HUGE dilemma. One will be my grail piece next year. And it’s either The Hanhart Preventor HD12 or The Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition black dial.
I bought a watch from MAMACOO lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
yo I actually just learned something and wanted to write here in the comments hehehe one of the main things that make "pilot" watches different from the rest is when they have an external rotating bezel.. instead of incrementing clockwise, it does counterclockwise. So, it functions as a COUNTDOWN bezel instead of a TIME ELAPSED bezel. Pretty easy to miss that detail. Credits to Teddy Baldassarre on this one hehe.
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
Choose any Seiko, King Seiko, or Grand Seiko you like and buy it. They last for decades, everyone respects them, and they don't suprise you with problems.
If you are speaking to San Martin, I think they make a lot of these Microbrands looking silly when they charge top dollar for what San Martin has for, often, less than $250. I have two, and both run perfectly well and look and feel like they are worth much more than I paid for them.
PIlot watches and not one german or british one was mentioned?? Sinn Flieger or the 556 F.A.Z. edition. Sill pissed they won't ship it to America difference from a field watch is the things you mentioned about the arabic big numbers and some specs to withstand G-forges and what not.. anti magnetic, that sort of tech I guess. The look is also not the same.. you could just looc at Laco or Sinn and you can see the difference :D
MAMACOO is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements. That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing!
I am obviously joking because Derek is a big Seiko fan (I am too!). I also picked a Hamilton, Timex and MIDO, which are most definitely not microbrands
Cheers on the partnership! So glad to see you guys enjoying the straps with your watches, looking really good!
Thanks guys! Always great to partner with a brand we already love
I’m hoarding Delugs straps at this point
Hell yeah! Been a long while since the last pod, great to have my favorite watch podcast back.

We are so happy to be back! Last month has been kinda crazy but hoping to release episodes more regularly going forward
@@wristenthusiast Awesome, super excited for what's to come!

Congrats on the Delugs partnership! hoping you guys keep it up with the pods
Not sure of the exchange rate
But if you have included the spb143
I think the spb453 trumps that - and I’d take that

Didn’t even realize there was one under 1k. It looks like if you opt for green dial on Nato-style strap, it is just barely under 1k. Good choice!
That's over 1k in Croatia 😢
I wouldn't call 1k amazing value for a Chinese manufactured watch like Doxa.
Doxa zar nije iz Švicarske???@@kresimirpleic
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of MAMACOO. Their watches are of exceptional quality.

Gotta also say, Studio Underdog definitely has some cool stuff.

"Choose your favorite watch UNDER $1,000"
Ben - "Here's the Seiko SPB143 that's $1,200" 😂
I hate being first for these games 😂
Let me guess, Seiko? 😂
@@wristenthusiast i’m banning myself from mentioning Seiko next episode 😂
Great picks honestly
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Stowa would be my pilot watch choice for under $1k
Thank you for making high quality videos!Love AMZWATCH ’s watches
Featuring the original cubitus by Maen 😂
lol!!!
Great video BUT how come none of you know a pilots watch under 1000. Have you never heard of Laco? You should look it up!
Stowa, Dekla, Damasko, Laco, Sinn, Hanhart … so many great pilot watches out there :)
@whyFINAL exactly. But Laco is the most attainable out of these
Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for MAMACOO watch makers
I have to say that AMZWATCH 's watches are amazing!
I’m new to the watch community. Currently only own two watches both were $100 but let me tell you I am taking notes! Appreciate the great information
Glad to have you in the community! I expect you will have a much bigger collection at this time next year 😂

Jack Mason strat o timers have really won me over, worth a look 👀

MAMACOO!Every time you exhibit one of these watches I become super tempted to get one.
When it comes to fine imitation watches, MAMACOO delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
MAMACOO's always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of watch 99% of people will never see.

Pilot Watches: Citizen Promaster series with Atomic drive accuracy 😂
I believe no man can say no to AMZWATCH's watches
No one cares what watch you wear except you. So as the man says, take your time. Buy what you like. Enjoy life.AMZWATCH
Joined the mailing list for the Studio Underdog Panda. That watch is so great looking! I want it bad
The white strap looks awesome.
Tissot PRX Automatic, Seiko 5 GMT, Citizen Tsuyosa, Hamilton Khaki Field... Favourites of mine 🙏🏻
Basic taste
Ehm Bulova Lunar Pilot, i know some ppl are tired of them, but damn its an ICON!
Best field under 1K --> Circula Protrail
Can’t believe we missed Circular 😭

For the gmt category a great option could be the Traska Venturer GMT
Kevin O'Leary - I'm a dial guy
Derek - I'm a Seiko guy
Haha cheers to another great episode!
Hahaha I’m more than just Seiko guys 😅
On my wrist is the Seiko 5 GMT great watch for the price!
Agree on the Alpinist , specifically the Extreme Glacier spb339 its a blue alpinist and its rare Af for a seiko 500 pieces
Hamilton PSR for integrated bracelet win!
I would also add San Martin, Sugess, Cronos and even Hruodland if you have a lower budget but want good movement with big budget look 😂😅
Dude, the skx is discontinued go with the Citizen promaster ny0040 iso diver, or the Seiko Turtle/king Turtle.
Love the Murph. Wish there was a date option though.
Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic 38 mm ETA2824 movement 🔥
that seiko alpanist red dial, Australia exclusive, is sick. but it's over a grand and expect to pay way more on the bay
Awww man, I was waiting for a moonphase watch
Sinn 556a RS ,for me the best valuable asset...
What is your favorite under $1,000 watch un each category?
Seiko SRPK-029 wear it every day
No dress watches? I'm brand new to watch collecting and interested in dress watches like the Hamilton Jazzmaster.
You are right, we totally missed dress watches! We’ll have to give it another go in the future
The director should keep the watch pictures for longer on screen instead of showing your faces 98% of the time. Otherwise good job guys
Good feedback! Will implement in future episodes
A superclone Daytona 😌
Hey what do you think about Martin design watches ?
They look cool. I’m not very familiar with them so can’t really give an opinion on quality though.
If you are speaking to San Martin, I think they make a lot of these Microbrands looking silly when they charge top dollar for what San Martin has for, often, less than $250. I have two, and both run perfectly well and look and feel like they are worth much more than I paid for them.

MAMACOO 's watch really surprises me!
MAMACOO is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements. That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing!
Am I the only one who doesn't understand the Jack Mason love? I've yet to see a watch from them that I thought looked even close to cool.
So many Seiko options.... nobody mentioned the Zelos ?
Tissot T Complication Sequelette
Seiko spb143 is the best watch around 1k. Worth every penny.
Calling a 5K watch entry level is the dumbest thing ive heard in a while.
I disagree with this too. $5k is definitely not an entry level watch
You lost me with "Seiko Alp!"
New friend here sending may full suppor AMZWATCH 's watch,Worth
Hamilton movement is not serviceable. So no for life. 10 years maybe.
Maen also makes a 39…FYI
Yeah I realized that after the fact. It was released after the 37 right? And is slightly over 1k.
Why does the dude in the middle have a problem with Seiko? He only chooses micro brands and nobody says anything.
I am obviously joking because Derek is a big Seiko fan (I am too!). I also picked a Hamilton, Timex and MIDO, which are most definitely not microbrands
Looks like a really cheap AliExpress watch.
What does?
Embarrassing takes. McDonald’s is calling.
Asian dude is the only one with a brain
