It is a beautiful park. I'm like you, I find it strange and disturbing that so many remains are still there 6 ft below it. I do love the memorial with all the old headstones.
With Halloween coming up, I'm curious if there have been any ghost encounters there? My city has a park that sits on what used to be a TB hospital. It's a beautiful park but I get weird vibes from it.

I’ve read about quite a few odd experiences and encounters within the park. I’m sure it’s considered one of the “most haunted” spots in San Diego.
I did a ghost tour of San Diego in a limo.
