I like to double safety blitz and switch to cover 2 man if they see the corners clamp down . People usually try to beat that over the top only to be baited into the safeties getting back for coverage .
As someone new to college football, this video was insanely informative and exactly what new players like myself need. You go in to detail as to what the defense is and WHY it works, not just "it works".
I just started using the 3.2.6 an i went 9-2. I now will be in play now practicing more. I miss ncaa 14 i was run heavy then an im still run heavy now. But my defense is slow progressing
3-2-6 is wreaking havoc on college bound QBs in my area. Good time to have a full house offense ready to go. Play your TEs at WR in the spread and your slot WRs as runningbacks/wings. Call that bluff!
Some people call it the 3-5. I played it my junior year in high school. The fox or the free safety is probably your most athletic player. Just undersized outside linebackers for your cat and dog backers. Really they are just in the box safeties.
I'm just telling him he can use the 3-3-5 or 4-2-5 as his base defense or main set, incorporate the 3-2-6, and have it as a secondary base defense. The personnel switches over pretty well to the 3-3-5. 4-2-5 is a little tricky regarding the defensive line, but it would also work.
@@DuceSenpai ah, okay thanks I get it! Is this something you can do in custom playbook? Or does 3-3-5 typically have 3-2-6, incorporated in it often? My online league doesn’t allow custom playbooks, so I was curious
@@blackxsheep29 No problem, you can do it in custom but EA has to fix something in regards to making custom defenses but the formations not showing up in the playbook. Their is a base 3-2-6 set and there is a “Dollar 3-2-6” which I believe Iowa State has in there defensive playbook which is primarily a 3-3-5
Man, that is absolutely hilarious because watching this video I'm watching Iowa State and they are slicing through me as a defensive back and it's killing me. And I'm playing on Texas Tech in the big 12 which is just hilarious man so I am definitely going to try to implement this I appreciate you man LMAO.
How do you position your CBs with inside position? Also can you make a custom 3-2-6 playbook where they'll let us bring over some 4-2-5 formations also or can you not merge two playbooks?
Hit Y or Triangle and flick the right thumb stick to the left. As far as I know you can make any playbook contain what you want but EA is having a problem with multiple formations showing up in the playbook after being added.
I'm a 35 year old man and the broken controller thing hit close to home... Though Ive been realllllly close I havent broken any yet, I've yelled a lot. Only ea football games do this to me, idk
@@DuceSenpai by both honestly but I had Florida State so I’m not sure if they’re not used to that playbook or what but I’ll try some of your tips tho I was already using a few of them. It wasn’t an online game it was against my brother who knows a lot of my playing style tho no excuses
Personnel does matter. Defense is tough regardless in this game, so I'll keep testing more stuff out against Heisman mode, and if it works, I'll let you know.
If you look in the coach settings you can modify your depth for zone drops. There’s one that mentions hook zones. The number is in intervals of 5. Whatever number you put it at, that’s the max depth they will drop. However this is only for zone coverage. But if you decide to use zone, set the hooks about at 10 yards. That should get you some picks.
It would have to be a multiple. It’s tough because teams stick to 4 man fronts or 3. Best bet would be a 4-2-5 team that has 3-2 dollar sugar set. I’ll look for you though.
What subtype of personal should I be recruiting when using this defense? Such as man-man, zone, slot for dbs And Field general, zone or run stopper for lbs
D-Line: I'd use run stoppers for the ends and DT. CBs depend on if you plan on playing more zone or man. I prefer man because the CPU shreds zone, slot corners would help as well. Look for a high press rating. LBs should field generals or run stoppers, but make sure they're athletic, no slow guys. Safeties is a mixture. A few fun stoppers to play in the box. The rest can be hybrids. The safeties are all over the field in this defense and you need depth.
Dude, this channel is so good. I love the history and background on the defensive formations
Thank you my guy! Hopefully other people feel the same and it takes off!
Need more 3-2-6 videos!!! Got an online dynasty I'm trying to win a ship in. Getting shredded by empty sets, mesh, verticals with the back side drag.
I got you.
Bro same! Empty sets are a nightmare to defend

A lot of High schools have switched to it and 3-3. Seems to be working pretty well.

I've been trying to decide between 425 (I usually run) & 335. I had not even considered 326.
Its surprisingly solid. You can use it as a sub base and mix it with your 3-3-5 or 4-2-5.
