Oh gosh, Mick had me crying from cuteness and sadness. Oh what a beautiful older gentleman he is… and a wonderful paramedic. He has a beautiful humor and a kind heart, and to see him crying at the end for that lady’s husband broke my heart
And now I just saw the note about Nigel, oh I’m sobbing now, it’s always the good ones 😭

Mick is a godsend, especially to the older patients. I didn't understand the elderly until I began approaching old age myself and saw both my parents pass. I am still in excellent health in my late 60's, but now I have so much more understanding and empathy for people who aren't as fortunate as I am. Not that the other excellent medics on this programme aren't excellent, but Mick brings so much experience and kindness to the job.

If I have even a small portion of Nigel’s strength and outlook when my time comes, I will be eternally grateful….❤️

They should just make a show about Mick and follow him around. His experience should be shared with the world.
Also, screw the guy who flipped out at the dispatcher. With a violent temper like that, he was probably the one that hurt his wife in the first place.

I was thinking the same thing about Mr Potty Mouth. I think dispatchers hear that kind of crap all the time. Poor Karen. She asked him more than once to stop. Bless her heart.

We get charged big for unnecessary police calls. So it must be the same for ambulance requests. That helps put a stop to the insanity.

I agree with you…they need to charge these people for calls that they don’t need…like to take them to a bar or home🤷‍♀️

AND a 17 year old drunk laughing and carrying on about nothing, wasting the time of the ambulance away from people who need their help with life and death situations 🤷‍♀️ it’s just wrong 😮

Do you mean for real, or what is it in these kids minds??
I think it’s 18. Unfortunately, 18 year olds aren’t smart enough to drink responsibly. I also know 70 year olds who aren’t smart enough to drink responsibly, and they’re asleep at the wheel. It’s a double-edged sword any way you look at it.

happened to my SIL...didn't know she was pregnant till 45 days before the baby came...she was flabbergasted.

It's called a cryptic pregnancy and there's usually a variety of reasons such as regular, light bleeding assumed to be a period, retrovertus uterus that tilts towards the back that makes it more difficult to see a growing pregnancy, history of PCOS so missing periods are common, really a variety of reasons. It's pretty unusual but it happens.
