That was a great explanation! Even my little girl brain understood that!! Now I want to put our shop dump trailer on remote! so I can dump the garbage from inside the truck!😄 Once I open the doors of course...
Ez, glad to see you back! I subscribe to very few channels but yours is a staple. Your breadth of knowledge in so many areas is astounding. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi Ezra, I just did the same thing to my hydraulic dump trailer. When you mentioned diodes, I couldn't figure why you would need them. Watching to the end of the video I see why. You have a power up and power down where the pump needs to run in order for the bed to rise and lower. Mine uses power up and gravity down. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hi Ezra, Jamie from Australia, great to see you back Sir, and that trailer looks the goods indeed. Looking forward to your next installment of great common sense content, all the best from Australia, and all the best for the new year ahead too 🇺🇸🇭🇲🤝👍
G'Day Ezra I like your new trailer mate and with your modification I'm sure it will serve you well . while I'm here making a comment I'd like to wish you and your family a Merry Xmas and great new year in 2024 I like your videos and ideas watch 'em all the time . stay safe "RB" Albury "downunder" cheers
Time will tell how I'll like the tilt deck my first tilt deck. I used a gravty tilt a few times and didn't like a few things about it. Like a longer vehicle it would try to tilt forward before you got the back tires on the trailer. But this being full deck tilt with power I don't think that will be a problem. My biggest concern Is loading and unloading the skid in the winter with snow and ice on the deck. But that's why I wanted the remote. In my head I should be able to start bringing the trailer down as soon as I'm on the back of the trailer reducing the angle and I should be able to get onto the back of the trailer no matter what even if I have to push myself on the the bucket
Hey there Ezra. Glad to see you still upload. Still doing my thing too, with more or less sucess lol. Was actually thinking what you were up to. People assume we vanish if we dont upload or dont watch. We're still around you know lol...ok, that was weird. Weird times man. Weird times.
As pretty typical I don't post much in the summer as I simply don't have time. As we get into winter I have more time to make videos and I'll post more often. Your start seeing more regular videos for the next few months
@@Ezrider359 Awesome. Good to be busy. Keep up on health too. It can come out of nowhere. Had a heart attack and supposedly they want to do open heart on me too....because I needed that lol. Life is funny. But Ill watch your stuff as long as I can. I just want normal things, not over the top videos, even if those are oh so popular.
They do have a amp rating the ones I used are 10amp witch is way overkill 1 amp would probably be plenty. Link in the description I think it's about $10 for a package of 20
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🎄 Love the trailer. I’ve never seen those remotes there, but I’m usually not looking for them either. Good stuff! I can sure see using the diodes on it though. Can you pull that trailer with your Pete? I’m sure you have another truck that can pull it if needed though. Just thinking. Does that trailer have enough lights on it? I can see you adding lights & doing a good video on “Making sure you have a good GROUND throughout your trailer.” Does that pivoting point have an extra ground contact? I ran into that problem with my tilt trailer from Harbor Freight. Have a merry Christmas my friend! Blessings to you & your family. 🥰🇺🇸✌️
I thought you did upload a video on the remote switcher a couple years ago? I remember because after watching your video, I bought the same switcher you bought for mine. I just searched and it was titled "$15 wireless controller on a polarity reversing circuit electric tarp or winch"
yeah iv shown them a couple of times on tarps, its a bit different on the Wiering on a electric/hydraulic dump or tilt deck if its power up and down. because you have to add the diodes and the motor switch wire.
Replaced my old skid steer trailer. Will be used for hauling skid steer cars picks and basically anything else 10-12k lbs or less than would go on a flat bed
Hi Ez, Great to see you back mate! Hope life is great and business runs well! Merry Christmas and happy new year to you!

*NICE BUY* on the trailer Ezra! 😃 That's gunna come in handy! I like those tilts because you don't have ramps to lug around 🔧🔩

All good
Ezra. Happy Holidays .
Dang thanks for this hack I will use it soon!! The diode is just any diode or is it a specific one like Amperage or voltage ?
They do have a amp rating the ones I used are 10amp witch is way overkill 1 amp would probably be plenty. Link in the description I think it's about $10 for a package of 20

@@Ezrider359 ah gotcha. Yeah I didn’t remember seeing anything about the diodes. Thanks for the video! Keep warm up there!
👍🏻🍻
Hello Ezra. Will you add a solar charger for the battery? You let your phone number leak out. Have good days!
I rarely answer out of state or unknown numbers anyway as I get about 30 spam calls a day I just send them to voicemail
Yes I'll add a solar charger and probably a winch as well
Another great video
I appreciate that
What you gonna use it for just curious welcome back.
