Hulme Garden Centre in Manchester - A community hub, promoting horticulture and sustainability.

Hulme Garden Centre in Manchester has been one of our favourite places to buy from since around 2007, it's always felt like a nice, ethically run place to visit and it reminds us of days gone by at the allotment we once had.
In 2019 they raised over £250,000 with many investors being from the local community.They now have a spacious new shop, a new office for the team (and cats), a community and volunteer hub for people to share ideas and experiences,, a brand new cafe and a new toilet block with full access and baby changing facilities.
They have grown so much over the years but it still feels like a warm and welcoming place to shop for everyone. Truly a one stop destination for stocking everything such as garden themed gifts, garden tools and not to forget the plethora of plants ranging from trees to tiny alpines.
Please do pay them a visit if you haven't been!

No... Unfortunately they close on Tuesdays too 😫 We've not been since it was Kim by the sea!
