I had one my Brother has it now. Bulova never intended to sale this watch. It was to be a display for the accutron movement but people went nuts for it, so Bulova sold them. I remember when they first came out....
We don’t realize how awesome these videos are. If the world doesn’t end by then we will be watching RE-runs of these 10 years from now and saying wow I wonder if I could find one of those watches.
My dad got one new, promised it to me but never gave it to me (hocked it in his old age)... I went out and bought my own; loved it as a kid and listening to it hum.
I have three tuning fork movement watches. They are a blast. A good Spaceview will go close to $1000. These are tricky to work on and you really need someone with the right knowledge and tools to do it properly.
What was the principle of operation? Who wore these watches? Why was this movement developed? It was running, did you hear anything strange or feel anything when holding it. How about laying it on a hard surface when running. Hear anything?
A good place to start is the great guitar player named Tony Rice, he made his own versions of this watch with a vibrating tuning fork...in his basement ...G...
I have a hummer in my collection. It always grabs people's attention when I wear it . A great conversation piece.

Rob Because of your review, you made me buy a Accutron 214 😖..........And i Love it Thanks, 😊😊
Amazing example of horology at its best. Kudos to Bulova for a time tested blend of electro-mechanical technology. Thanks for the great review Rob!

I own my dad's M6 (1966). Still runs great but I rarely wear it.
Holler if you’d like to sell?

Very cool watch, and small enough to fit almost anyone.
Looks in amazing condition too.

This watch is very cool but you don't really want to wear it because parts are getting rare and there are not many people able to repair it.

Dane has a guy who restores these, can't remember but he has a site where he sells them. Maybe something to look out for.
0:18 - you know no one is forcing you to "crank" out these videos?
There's a 1962 214 near me for $525 is it worth it?
For sure👍🏻
Really!? "I'm so busy making cheap, crappy videos; I don't have time to make a good, well produced one..."
Nailed it. Thanks champ
😀👍👍👍
Looks like a Citizen tuning fork movement to me.
I stopped watching at 0:19.
Thanks much
Hmm...
