Your workmanship is finonminal!!! I think this piece is absolutely stunning. I came across your video while browsing dollhouse ideas. For my daughters 6th birthday this July I want to make her a dollhouse. If this piece is part of a dollhouse that is one lucky little girl!! .I will have to check out your channel to see what else you share. This mom knows she doesnt have the skill or even the tools for that matter to make anything this beautiful for my daughter and in a way it breaks my heart. At the end if the day I can only do what I can. Thank you and stay blessed!!
I'm an experienced carpenter with almost 20 years of experience and those are amazing stairs I hope that sometime soon I could do my first set of spiral stairs in a house
Awesome . Being a carpenter in the winter eventually will drive you to the point of building anything you should put a bird house on it and sell .I love the jig for the rails .
You have so much patience Gilbert I just can`t help but admire your skills and professionalism at all you do....like you say your a perfectionalist and it shows by all the beautiful things you create......I keep wondering....how he top this one....the bar you set for yourself is set real high and all your close must be proud of the work you do.....CHEERS
Again Gator, thanks for the compliment. I made some spiral staircases out of steel before but that was over 20 years ago. Took me a few hours to remember how to calculate the dimensions. Cheers
I'm amazed, you're so talented, and your videos are better and better ! Keep up the good work !! Oh and the staircase looks so beautiful, very creative !
Amazing work, sir! This is something that I aspire to make someday for my Phicen figures. Never thought of using a planer out in the snow. We in the northern latitudes got to do what we go to do!
Beautiful workmanship. Thanks for sharing this video. 1/6 scale is perfect for this type of project. If you wouldn't mind may I inquire as to the step thickness and dowel diameter which you used? Looking forwards to your next build video.
Hey thanks for the reply. From the video, that was what I had guessed, but I have been known to be wrong now and then. I've been building scale structures for years and when I came across your spiral staircase I was in awe! That is one project I have never taken on but I think you just may have inspired me to give it a go. Enjoyed your box project too. Hope you will continue to post more.
