Seen from the footage, Weebill 3 looks smoother imo, I think this has also helped made up my mind to choose Weebill 3 since stabilization is important for a gimbal!
Haha not the best timing had no clue dji was releasing a new gimbal. I would say this is a very barebones gimbal but how stable it is is pretty amazing and that’s my key factor in any gimbal
OMG!! Getting away from a shaky video is the most important feature that a gimble should have. So impressed with the zhiyun weebill 3. Thanks for the comparison! It seems DJI needs to develop their gimbals more!!!
Interesting to see Zhiyun and DJI moving further apart from each other in the gimbal space with these new releases. DJI have doubled down on the professional angle, whereas Zhiyun seem to have streamlined this latest model (what happened to the flip out screen from the Weebil 2? Guessing it didn't get a good response haha) That mic is pretty dead tho lol Thanks for this breakdown video Austen!
when you have it on pov mode for examble , can you push the trigger button to switch to lock mode for the time that you pushing it , and when releasing it, the trigger button ,can came back at pov mode again autocaticaly ?? You know , for use lock mode just for some seconds and going back at main selected mode instantly ,like Dji s gimbals ...
We need a gimbal headphone and HDMI ports built into the slider plate mount area, with corresponding ports to route the signal out to somewhere on the body which would allow us to monitor and connect mics without having them affect the gimbal balance in any way. I won't use the internal gimbal mic but I would use a RodeGo for example connected to the monitor, I don't like having a mic on the hotshoe as it can get in the way. Tiny motors on the adjustment sliders so that we can preset camera/lens combinations... balance it, save your settings, have it remember and recall for lens changes. No more manually rebalancing every time we change lenses. Flippy screen (detatchable and attaches via magnets or something). Imo the Weebill 2 has hands down the best quick release plate design and adjustment sliders of any gimbal I've ever used, they were so much quicker to adjust than the Ronin but I always reach for my RSC-2 because the footage comes out smoother, Weebill Wobble is real. Completely usable, but not as smooth as the Ronin. Hopefully the 3 is smoother than the 2.
Great review Austen! Surprised how stable the weebill 3 is when compared to the RS2, especially with bigger lenses, seems like zhiyun is working really hard to improve the motor and algorithm.
Great honest review. I know there are endless features on both gimbals. But what really helps me to make my choice is at 1:57. Compact size is everything for filmmakers. What do you think about it?😁
This is like the tenth video where UA-camrs were given the Webil 3 to say nice things about it and they all rave about the wrist support. But let’s be honest, it’s a screw on attachment. What’s really stopping Zhiyun from making a similar screw on accessory for a Webil 2, other than they prefer to sell you a Webil 3.
I really like this review video you made! It's so comprehensive and careful. BTW , I want to know the weebill 3 something more. Are all the transmissions and follow focus gear attachments still compatible?
Would be interesting to see a combination mix of the hi pass audio from the camera with the lo-mid end audio from the gimbal mixed together in sync ...
Cool gimbal seems like something for beginners or something for mobile phone users… doesn’t look like it can handle professional rigs etc but cool video
Stop promoting this trash. they are not competing with DJI and their Eco system and accessories.. Stop using my crane 3s as soon as DJI came out with a gimbal that could support the weight of my camera
With that mindset you would never test out new gear. The whole point is to test compare and improve not all gear will be better then predecessors but if you just hate something before trying it you will never grow.

Interesting seeing Zhiyun and DJI launching new gimbals at the exact same time and seeing all of the most amazing creators battle it out!

Thanks Austin for this review❤.... needed it😍
Of course always happy to help!
@@AustenPaul thanks so much sir❤...More strength and inspiration to do more❤

The wrist rest pad really shows the depth of ZHIYUN puts into the comfort design

is it able to change camera settings? iso, shutter, f-stop? Can you please explain how it does this? Thanks and great video!
Would this work on the Sony RX100 VII with controls (zooming, shutter/aperture control, taking photos, etc)?

How often do you usually switch from shooting weddings and real estate videos back to product videos?
I do them a lot less as product videos makes me plenty of money but I still help out my fiancé from time to time when she gets booked for them!
why you ain't tell me? I need this for weddings!
Honestly just the light for the dance floor is so nice once the dj turns off all of his lights
This one have active track?
So I can record my self
hmmm...but can it handle lenses like 24-105 f4 rf? or maybe 15-35 f2.8 rf?
or only lightweights? crucial for me cuz i use em with my r6
compare weebill 3 vs rsc2 in stabilization and lockmode.
Can’t beat DJI Ronin series when it comes to stabilization and ease of use.
Did you watch this video? Apparently you can beat the dji ronin series--pretty badly!
the audio is terrible from the gimbal
Agree did not like it sounds like I was under water

It literally has a payload well over 2KG. It’s a professional gimbal.
The Weebill 3's Mic is like putting the Underwater effect to the Sound. A little help before post-production. (If you need it, doesn't it ?) Ha ha
good review Austin. Shame there is a bot in the comments claiming to be you. Better black list.
Not the best gimbal when you have the newly released RS3 from DJI. Much prefer it for smoother transitions and more travel friendly. Just my opinion.
The stabilization is out of control
Best ever? Product placement. Paid.
Haha it’s just a title you have to watch the video. I have no dog in the race.
