I find so interesting that back in '03 I was just a kid playing video games, watching cartoons, enjoying my youth and not paying attention to the world. Now seeing this as an adult and looking back, I never realize all the chaos and mayhem that was going on at that time.
@hypnotoad The only "good old days" were the 1991-2001 period which was the most peaceful in human history. Didn't last long though and it faded pretty quickly.

I feel like the directors wanted to use Fortunate Son but couldn't get the rights and just said " We'll just find something similar"----although Fortunate Son would have been even more cringe so I can't wrap my head around it one way or another. Honestly the use of this Spirit in the Sky as the theme for the anti-war movement at the time is insulting, it's a total whitewashing of the absolute rage that the majority of the planet felt about the Iraq invasion. Even the footage they used seemed to minimize the enormity of the protests that occurred around the world consisting of literally hundreds of millions of people.
