Thats..right " check out the clarity on that chief, Thats real ice dripping right there" " i dont have to take this, you came to my corner looking for me Chief"
For those of you who don't know he's Dap Sugar Willie, from North Philly and you can find him on Pandora Radio telling his jokes. He has passed on many years ago but, he will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
Lenny to me was the funniest of all black sitcom comic relief characters. He came out of nowhere, changed the mood of the most somber situations and left the crowd hysterical. The coolest of cats that knew how dust (brush) off the haters before it was cliche. Thank you for this. Love it
I thought Sugarhill Gang and Kurtis Blow were the first pioneers of rap....but as far as I'm concerned The Awesome Foursome and Lootin Kenny were the true pioneers of rap.
Say momma, You may have had mennay but until you've had sweat Lennay You aint had ennay! This dudes a legend! Lennay, Brotherman from the 5th floor,Cops from Sanford and Son and Sweets from Goodtimes.
Lenny was smoother than a mug...he drove a Cadillac Eldorodo or Lincoln Contintental for sure...he stayed with the full length furs ...brushing off the haters!
The TV/TV Guide line has stuck with me my entire life. I have never forgotten how sweet I thought that line was as a kid and this was before rap. So when rap started in a sense my ears were already prepped for it.
Well that settles it, I realize on who I am going to dress up as on Halloween LMBAO. Lootin Lenny one of the funniest, coolest and memorable characters in tv history.
Oh man, I remember this from when I was in elementary school. Made me laugh then, makes me laugh now. He had tennis rackets, bed pans AND silverware. LOL!
R.I.P. Willie James Anderson aka Dap "Sugar" Willie (1939-1994). ...Somehow, you know he had at least two Cadillac's stashed in the garage, & one on the curb!
My name is lenny...and i do any thing more less than a pennny..this dude is so gangsta..he came to the precient with a t.v. And some fuckin magazines in his coat..what the fuccc...lol..im still laughing...you gotta love lennnnnnnyyyyy...lol
"Lenny won't let you wear it unless it fits ya!" Forever funny as hell to me! My babyboy reminds me of him by character and attitude. He could sell ice to an Eskimo! Much love for Dap!
That scream when that woman is at dinner is so extra 😂. The Tiffany’s of the streets😂. This fool said like at my lines they really fine if you got the dime I’ve got the time😂😂. I’m still hollering at this foolishness.
Once he first started appearing on "Good Times",it was always a BIG disappointment whenever Lenny didn't show up in an episode! He never failed to make me bust a gut laughing, especially whenever he got into it with Wilona or one of the Evans family!
the part where he opened his coat on the elevator at that ladyXD.. I made up one about him when I was a child.. ahem.. "well hello, my name is Lenny.. if you ain't got a dollar, just give me a penny"
When you buy from Len-nay you save yourself a good Pen-nay!!!!!!.... I got a water bottle if you want it you can take it or a whole set of bed pans just in case you can't make it!!!!!LMAO
Looting Lenny woulda made such a great addition to the other Martin alternate characters. Dragon Fly Jonez, Roscoe, Oldman Otis, Jerome, Shenenehh and Lootin Lenny

For those of you who don't know he's Dap Sugar Willie, from North Philly and you can find him on Pandora Radio telling his jokes. He has passed on many years ago but, he will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Lenny was smoother than a mug...he drove a Cadillac Eldorodo or Lincoln Contintental for sure...he stayed with the full length furs ...brushing off the haters!
We been rhyming long before it was put to music.
Shame Good Times never had an entire episode involving Lenny, that would have been epic....they did one for Ned the Wino.
He didn't show up too often, but when he did, you just KNEW it was gonna be good. :)
Lenny was the Man.They don't make them like they used to
The TV/TV Guide line has stuck with me my entire life. I have never forgotten how sweet I thought that line was as a kid and this was before rap. So when rap started in a sense my ears were already prepped for it.
WE ARE BEAUTIFUL....BEAUTIFUL. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE....
And funny as HELL
This cat had me weak with laughter, because you never knew when he was going to show up. And that whisk broom was comedic genius.
You gotta love the way he brushes his coat off!!!
Check the way he flashes Janet Jackson at the end!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Snoop Dogg would be perfect as Lottin' Lenny
MrAntiSellOut yeah dog

Snoop Dogg also made a great Honey Bear in Starsky & Hutch.
Surely you’re kidding. There is NO replacement for Lootin Lenny

My name is Lenny, and if u cant get in here then there cant be that many !
Lenny the OG. 70`S OG was the original
"You may have had many, but until you've had Lenny, you haven't had any!"
I love how the audience already new what the deal was the second he walks in the room. I wonder if he was an inspiration for Martin's Jerome.
The birth of hustle man!
The white old lady in the elevator killed me.
"I'll take my stuff to da Red Cross" LMAO😂🤣😂🤣
I Loved when Dap Sugar Willie was on Good Times

Once he first started appearing on "Good Times",it was always a BIG disappointment whenever Lenny didn't show up in an episode! He never failed to make me bust a gut laughing, especially whenever he got into it with Wilona or one of the Evans family!

Len-nae was the reason I watched Good Times during the last season or two.
A good actor
Lenny was a hustling kleptomaniac.
Man Sweet Daddy was cool but nothing came close to Len-ay...
"My name is 'Len-nay,' I got picked up in front of Pen-nay's."
"You always save a pretty pen-nay when you shop with Len-nay."
We could use Lenny today. Lenny would have sanitizer, and clorox. Lol
