I've noticed some color variations of blue and black on these. The black looks wayyy better! I hope when I eventually get mine from Sweetwater, it'll be black like this one. Great demo btw, I love the straight to the point approach. The talking about it for 7 mins and 3 of demo gets really old from other UA-camrs. I appreciate this video, thank you!
How did you store and play the tracks on this? Was really keen on using the sequencer handsfree to play drones but this has proven very difficult - best i can do it latch the arpegiator to generate a held sound!?
How do you midi & power?? Is it through the computer or is there a DAWless option?? I finally broke down and got a computer after not having one for like 7 years so I can do both, but I’d prefer not to have to fire up the computer to play this on my Keystep 37 Actually if theres an iOS option with the CCK for iPhone/iPad and a midi app that’d work too
The old JP only has 4 voices too. Didn’t stop it from being the sound of trance for a decade. And USB midi is a reasonable compromise in this day and age of easy availability of usb midi host boxes. But the hands on control of the JP is remarkable and this little unit does not sound as good.
What nonsense say first of all the Jupiter 4 is a unit from the 1970s without midi and cv , the ability to detune the sawtooths of the unit only came on the market with the JP8000 in the 1990s. And that's where that device was misused to make that carnival honk you refer to as trance.
It doesn't look like it at all! It is an insult to compare this with a JP8000 since the warmth and magic of the Roland until today no one could imitate..
"This little synth is a reproduction of the famous Roland JP-8000 sound engine with its iconic Supersaw waveform." -- this is simply not true. Not real supersaw, the envelopes are completely different, the filter is even more different. The only similarity is the blue/orange paintjob, nothing else :)
*claims to be :-) I agree with you on the point. That was not my opinion (so not my fault), I only reported the Behringer advertising. Anyone can tell if it's true or not.

Thank you so much for your appreciation! It is very important for me to receive feedback on the work done. Thanks again!
Its a fantstic synth. The filter is lovely and the oscillators are fat and punchy. It can do warm, fat or punchy and bright....
Man that thing sound awesome
molto interessante, grazie per questo lavoro - DdM🐟
I need to report this video to YT for that guy having a gun and the demo for cuteness! 😁
BTW, no FX? Stereo spread coming from the JT?
@@samprock I added just a little little little bit of Valhalla Supermassive!
@@adl-musiclabMassive!
Where do you get those 2 figures?
A store in my city.

Hi! On a DAW...and then I sent the MIDI back to the JT-4000.
As a JP-8080 owner, I can say that I want one of these, but good lord it is no replacement for the real thing. Not by miles.
Especially with the 4 voice paraphony and lack of midi.
$49 says it's a decent compromise :)
@@nathankirklambo1986 No. It's a decent machine for $49, surely sounds good and is fun. It isn't a JP though, just sort of sounds like one.
Good lord no one said it was…..
@@ironinquisitor3656lack of midi? What do you mean?
😍😍😍

In the video I use a DAW for the routing, but you can easily use a MIDI-USB host to go DAWless!
@@adl-musiclab awesome…I’ve got an old MidiPlus Midi host (like the Kenton one I think they still sell) I could definitely use that

The jp8000 is a computer a dsp chip with knobs and when the code is copyed into another dsp chip you have the same .
I would pay $30 for this but $49 is way too steep.
😂😂😂

Purists only know... But for 50€ it's worth it to fiddle a bit in your bed, no ???
Pretty good for $49
Absolutely true!
