Pony Express Re-Ride (2021 excerpts)

A short video montage of some clips recorded for another film during the 2021 Pony Express Re-Ride from Sacramento, California to St. Joseph, Missouri. Clips recorded during Nevada segments.
Every year relays of volunteers carry real mail with special USPS stamps along the 1,966-mile historic route in ten days, just as they did 160 years ago. In some places the route is covered with modern pavement and buildings, but in others it looks just as it did in 1860.

You could mail a letter from one state to the next state for 50 cents and it would get there in 3 days. Now a days the same latter will cost more than 50 cents and it will not get there in 3 days
