    Hey Cubbee, I used hose clamps for my Rigid Dually's, (2 per light) I painted them black to blend in, and they have been on for over a year now and I haven't had to tighten or adjust them. And Man that Outty has good Stock head lights ! I was impressed ! and with the LED's it was that much better !

      @cubbeezx  9 років тому +1

      +Maritimer Good to know Maritimer! So far mine have stayed tight too and the bar is quite heavy. Working better than I thought so think I will just leave them as is! The stock lights are pretty good, but they sure look yellow compared to the LED's! Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Great video as usual. I purchased a light bar (not Kimpex) for my 2014 Arctic Cat 700 this past spring. Not sure if you are familiar with the Arctic Cat headlights but they suck. When you drive through water/mud, that comes out the top of the headlights and down over the face. Once that happens your night visibility is greatly diminished. I put this bar on and it was the difference between night and day. Only drawback is when you are in a group at night your brights are on the rider in front of you. I keep well back but I need them on at night. Thanks again for sharing this information.

      +Graham Milner Thanks for checking out the video Graham! The stock lights on the Can Am aren't bad, but they sure do look yellow next to the LED lights. We put LED's on the Grizzly too as the stock lights weren't great either. Know what you mean about your brights on the rider in front of you...creates a shadow. Appreciate you stopping by!

    Everythng is beastly on that Outlander, even the light bar! Go big or go home lol. Beauty lights. Prefer the Rigids you put on the Grizz, still want to do that mod.

    • @cubbeezx
      @cubbeezx  9 років тому

      +Canesser LOL The bar is a bright one! Probably could have gone with a shorter length, but it seemed like a good size at the time LOL We like the Rigids too, but we have had issues with water getting in them and then they fog up. One quit working for awhile too, but seems to have started working again LOL. The LED's are such a nice bright light compared to the stock ones. Thanks for watching Canesser!

    • @canesser1
      @canesser1 9 років тому

      +cubbeezx A beastly light for a beastly ATV lol. Water getting into $250 Rigid Lights? Say it ain't so! Was that from precipitation or submersion? Yes the bright white light is an amazing lumination, a classic deer in the headlights even!

    • @cubbeezx
      @cubbeezx  9 років тому

      +Canesser Seems to be precipitation or condensation..when they heat up they dry out, but still! At least they are still working though, that is the main thing.

    Use caution when you wash your bike. I put a similar switch on my bike with the Enthuze light bar and when I washed the bike something shorted out and melted the wires going to the switch. There was no fuse supplied for the switch side and it got real hot! I have since replaced the relay and switch with a waterproof one from Pico Canada.

    Great installation video Cubbee. I can't wait to get my can am and put my 10 inch Aurora on it and test it out. On my friend's brute force 650 he has a 7 inch one and it sure light's up the road even for that small of one. Also will you be doing a little night riding with it on trails or something?

    Why mount the bar protruding from your bumper? The LinQ rack already has mounting holes for an LED where it won't get smashed. Also how come you ran the wire under the plastic exposed to sand/mud/water blasting? You already ran your wire under the rack and above your plastic, go straight under the cover to your relay.. leave it protected and away from the elements.

    • @cubbeezx
      @cubbeezx  6 років тому

      We sometimes carry a case on the front rack so didn't want anything in the way. Wires are all encased in looming and taped to help keep out the dirt...3 years later and so far so good
