Well done , difficult day ,grey sky good to see decent hang gliding videos ,as a hang glider pilot for thirty years (now retired) it’s tempting me to take it up again .👍

Ah I just understood what you meant by 'low on the list' - the results shown on the video aren't the entire results ... There are 70 odd pilots in the comp
Hi Andy - it wasn't actually that cold. It was colder flying in the UK before I went to Italy. I had my balaclava on but my face wasn't very chilly. And my fingers were nice and toasty in my gloves - that's always the first part of my body to feel the cold! Wait until you see the next one (just finishing editing it now) - now that one is a bit colder and MORE snow...! As for busy - well there are a lot of gliders, but you only need to worry about 2 or 3 at any one time - those are the gliders at the same height as you and close to you in the thermal. So it's not so difficult - though of course you do need to keep your wits about you.

I remember flying at the Scottish open , Gordon was flying then , that was yearrrrs ago .

just like your average day trying to stay up on the north side of tinto in a west north westly . keep the flying fun.
