Here it was 2018, when he was invited back as a guest in the finale of The Singer, and Dimash was saluting the people in China who had become his fans after The Singer competition from 2017, by replacing two "I love you"s with the Mandarin translation "wǒ ài nǐ", and adding one in kazakh at the end, "men seni süyemin".
And at the very end he thanked the audience in Mandarin, "fēicháng gǎnxiè" - 'thank you so much' :)

I literally stopped breathing the first time I heard Dimash singing this song. I was around when this was popular with Lionel Richie but I never felt quite as deeply connected to the song until I heard Dimash’s performance. I have three daughters and would be thrilled if any one of them brought someone even half of Dimash’s abilities home since they would also be incredible with half of what Dimash has! Unfortunately, because I like Dimash, my daughters won’t even listen to him. Very narrow minded! Love the reaction and cheers from Canada! (Happy Spring! It’s coming soon!)

Lionel Ritchie's management company holds all rights to his music. Ritchie cannot say who can and cannot perform his songs. Hunan TV did not obtain permission for a venue performance (which is standard international law), so there might have been a later agreement for Hello to not be sung again.

If you want to hear the highest note recorded on any video from any human...please react to him singing Unforgettable Day at Gakku Concert. He wrote the song and it is so awesome. The note he hits is so high that I don't think dogs can hear it. Very impressive 👏.

Dimash was the guest of honor at the final concert of the competition 'The Singer 2018' (Jessie J won). Lionel Richie liked the appearance of Dimash, his son-in-law was in the audience and was filming. I wouldhave liked to see Lionel's face. Unfortunately Richie did not agree to a future performance of this Dimash song... but we have the video on UA-cam with this unforgettable version of Dimash.
The flute called Sybyzgy - made of reeds or wood 50-70 cm with 3-7 holes, which is particularly common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The instrument was particularly popular with shepherds and was used by storytellers. They went across the country and told stories and legends in chants and with music (Kui).
There are many legends and traditions associated with sybyzgy. In these legends the instrument is called a "living reed", because this strong, hollow stem, makes amazingly deep sounds.
The whole life of Kazakhs is imbued with music, it sounds in ceremonies and rituals, in everyday life and at holidays. Listening to the sounds of dombra, kobyz or sybyzgy, one can understand the history and culture of the Kazakh people.
It was easy and fast to make a sybyzgy, but it was very difficult to play it. Sybyzgy kuis (Kui: sung stories) were most two-voice melodies: the first voice came from the instrument and the second voice was the throat singing of the musician-performer.(www)

Dimash's mather, Svetlana Aitbayeva turns 50 this year...)) And she is also an amazing singer, wonderful mother and great human being as all his other family members...And yesterday there was a birthday of Dimas's beloved Granny, Miua apa so Dimash even got back from the USA to celebrate it with his family, because family ties are very strong here in Kazakhstan.

This was a guest appearance on Singer 2018, and there were some people in the backstage shots worth checking out when you get the time. One is Hua Chenyu, whose song "Nunchucks" is a good place to start. Another is Tengri, whose song "Heaven" shows a lot of dynamic control. Another person not in that video is KZ Tandingan, whose unique cover of "Rolling In The Deep" won Episode 5. There is also a short video of Jessie J, who was going to go on next, watching Dimash from the wings. At the end of verses 2 + 3, Dimash sang "I love you" in Mandarin for the Chinese audience.

There was an older man sitting in the back room called Tengri (who sings a song called Heaven, which is amazing) but he sings a duet with Dimash called Swan Goose, which is really fun. You may get to that one along the line. But another suggestion is Know, the vocalise version from the Arnau concert, it is amazing but you could do a double with Dimash singing Know, with the words. He is wearing a beautiful white suit in that one and looks stunning,

In this piece, for example, you hear Turkic throat singing - the ancient song of the steppes - creating the foundation while Dimash’s melismas soar high above it. The music of ancient cultures often used chants, overtone singing, and melismatic techniques to induce a hypnotic trance in the listener. Music, according to Sufi teaching, is an expression of the overwhelming and perfect harmony of the whole universe-and that is the secret of its amazing power to move us at the Soul level. Dimash is not only aware of the power of music to alter one’s state of consciousness, he wields this power masterfully but with great respect, using his voice, body, and instrumentation to transport the listeners to a higher plane of existence. His friend since his teenage years, Erlan Bekchurin, is a brilliant arranger and is also steeped in Kazakh folklore. Together they create magic. The flute is a traditional Qazaq instrument called a sybyzgy. Also, for those who may not already know, he sings “I love you” in three different languages. First in English, then twice in Mandarin, “wo ai ni” and at the end, in Qazaq, “men seni suyemin.” What he whispers at the very end is “fei chang gan xie” which is thank you very much in Mandarin.
