Dimash has been working on his lower register and also exploring a range of traditional vocal techniques from many diverse cultures, and creatively incorporating these into some of his new compositions. It's a voice that is still maturing, but don't forget he got a head start on most classical vocalists, and commenced training his voice aged 5, so that's 23 years already. People are travelling from all over the world just to get the chance to see him Live. Vocally there is no one who can compare with Dimash. I was born in the 60s and I've grown up with some of the greats but I've never heard a voice like this before. He has worked so hard and had many knockbacks too, his unusual range was not initially welcomed in his own country and you would think he has earned the right to be arrogant but instead he's the most humble, gentle and loving human being I've ever seen. There are actually over 600 versions of an Ave Maria written throughout history, basically it's just a title just like you will find many songs with the same title in pop music. Dimash specifically asked for a new Ave Maria to be written for him. There is a clip of him singing the Ave Maria you are thinking of backstage in Las Vegas and also in Mumbai I believe when he went for meetings with the main producers in the Bollywood industry.

In order to be able to sing closest to Dimash.....you would need to combine at least 3-4 highly skilled vocalists with different vocal ranges AND skills. Dimash possesses allcthose ranges and skills...all within one person.
This song always brings tears to my eyes. I told my daughter that I want this played at my funeral. I also thought it was going to be the most common Ave Maria like Pavarotti sings, but was surprised when there were no words. But then I thought, here you have a version of a Christian standard written by a Russian Jew and sung by a Muslim man and I think this shows that you can give people a spiritual experience regardless of your faith. It's so amazing. You should listen to Unforgettable Day - Gakku version. It's a song Dimash wrote when he was 17 and he was singing this live and just on a whim decided to rip off a note higher than the piano (D8) and not only hit it but held it for about five seconds and even had a little vibrato in it. Consider that the world record for the highest note sung by a man is an E8 which is only 1 note higher than Dimash, and you can bet the record holder planned and prepared for it! And, I've seen the video and it was just hitting tones, not in an actual song where he continued singing afterward!
Hi there, that voice has been honed and is continued to be honed to perfection. Dimash started his music education when he was 5 years old. He's turning 29 in May. Can your imagine the work, sacrifice, perseverance he has been doing for more than 20 years to his craft? He still trains/practices at least 3 hours/day.
The first time I heard this I was disappointed because I thought it was the Ave Maria I grew up with and kept waiting for it but after I realized it wasn't the same song, then I heard the genius. Because Dimash started vocal lessons at 5 years old, he trained through puberty and was able to keep his high range. That and 25+ years of training results in amazing Dimash.

I have seen this over 50 times and still, this man's voice issues the 'CHARGE of the light brigade' to my tear ducts within 10 secs of him starting to sing. I’m glad he didn’t go with the traditional Ave Maria as most would expect. He’s not about competition or wanting to be compared to other singers. He’s a unique individual and, as a man in my 50’s, I can honestly say that he’s the best singer I’ve ever heard.

Vocally there is no one who can compare with Dimash. I was born in the 60s and I've grown up with some of the greats but I've never heard a voice like this before.
He has worked so hard and had many knockbacks too, his unusual range was not initially welcomed in his own country and you would think he has earned the right to be arrogant but instead he's the most humble, gentle and loving human being I've ever seen.
There are actually over 600 versions of an Ave Maria written throughout history, basically it's just a title just like you will find many songs with the same title in pop music. Dimash specifically asked for a new Ave Maria to be written for him.
There is a clip of him singing the Ave Maria you are thinking of backstage in Las Vegas and also in Mumbai I believe when he went for meetings with the main producers in the Bollywood industry.

In order to be able to sing closest to Dimash.....you would need to combine at least 3-4 highly skilled vocalists with different vocal ranges AND skills. Dimash possesses allcthose ranges and skills...all within one person.
This song always brings tears to my eyes. I told my daughter that I want this played at my funeral. I also thought it was going to be the most common Ave Maria like Pavarotti sings, but was surprised when there were no words. But then I thought, here you have a version of a Christian standard written by a Russian Jew and sung by a Muslim man and I think this shows that you can give people a spiritual experience regardless of your faith. It's so amazing. You should listen to Unforgettable Day - Gakku version. It's a song Dimash wrote when he was 17 and he was singing this live and just on a whim decided to rip off a note higher than the piano (D8) and not only hit it but held it for about five seconds and even had a little vibrato in it. Consider that the world record for the highest note sung by a man is an E8 which is only 1 note higher than Dimash, and you can bet the record holder planned and prepared for it! And, I've seen the video and it was just hitting tones, not in an actual song where he continued singing afterward!
Hi there, that voice has been honed and is continued to be honed to perfection. Dimash started his music education when he was 5 years old. He's turning 29 in May. Can your imagine the work, sacrifice, perseverance he has been doing for more than 20 years to his craft? He still trains/practices at least 3 hours/day.

The first time I heard this I was disappointed because I thought it was the Ave Maria I grew up with and kept waiting for it but after I realized it wasn't the same song, then I heard the genius. Because Dimash started vocal lessons at 5 years old, he trained through puberty and was able to keep his high range. That and 25+ years of training results in amazing Dimash.

His teacher tried to stop Dimash from singing these high notes, Inguess he thought he would likely damage his voice. BUT, Dimash would go up sysirs into the top rooms of his school. And practice and keep improving and reaching HIS aims. That's how n why he can do it. Tenacity and determination. When u practice and work as he did and still does from age 3-5 unreachable your dreams. He dreamed and drew pictures of himself on stage, with amplifiers, piano etc etc at age 3 - 5 . Find some if the rare footage of him being interviewed. U will start to get to know and understand him. A Wonderful human being!!!

I have seen this over 50 times and still, this man's voice issues the 'CHARGE of the light brigade' to my tear ducts within 10 secs of him starting to sing. There are no words to describe the beauty of sound that hits your ears and travels through to your heart and soul when hearing this. OMG - I have to view it again.
