This song totally rules. It's as funny as hell. Absolutely out of all formats and very witty from all points. The real art. Bass line sounds like some of the Les Claypool's stuff)
I remember when this first came out....i cracked up them, and still crack up listening to it. Sooo many people I would love to direct this to (if you know what I mean). That bus is so needed...lol
The sample is from Raymond Scott's composition Powerhouse. Carl Stalling used it in a lot of WB cartoons. Hear the whole thing on Don Byron's "Bug Music".
Nah, this was taken in 94’. Mike hasn’t even gotten started; he isn’t even doing ecstasy yet and the heroin hasn’t gotten as severe. Look at him in 96’ - 99’, that’s when he looks literally dead inside and out. He’s skinny, pale, and miserable looking. Even he described himself as looking like that of a cancer patient. Glad he’s better nowadays.
One of the greatest unknown bands ever in the history of ever
Carl Stalling!!! I have always LOVED this whole elpee...and, frankly, all the Soul Coughing I own. Thank you!!!
Can't listen to this song without bobbing my head to the beat.
Love it to death. Been looking for this for a long time. Thanks!
I saw these guys at 7th St. Entry in MN. Pinned to the stage through the whole show. Awesome.
