Thank you so much for the incredibly thorough tests! I recently ordered the Baseus 100w power bank, and I can't wait for it to arrive. I'll be using it to extend the battery of my 16" MacBook Pro. I love the shape of it, because I can just leave it in my backpack and use the MacBook's long USB C cable to plug into the power bank in my backpack. Thanks again!
I just wish it was 26800mAh capacity. But finding a good 100W PD power bank has been very difficult for me. I thought J-Go Tech was one I could trust, but it just shuts off and powers on again, in a loop, when trying to use 100W. Looks like I will have to settle for the Baseus blade.
Great video! It's very detailed. Please, could you also tell the discharge time of the 100W power bank at 100% capacity and 20V and 5A. Just the time on the screen would be enough. Thanks!
@DSmartLife: Approximately how long can you power the new Macbook Pro 14 inch (2021) with the Baseus Blade 100 Watt powerbank? Thank youf ro sme feedback on that question.
Hello. My Baseus Blade only charges my less-than 5,000 mAh 13" macbook 2019 up to 95 or so percent. Do you think it is defective? thank you for your video.
Yes all of them support simultaneous charging and discharge, only one of it supports UPS feature. Please check my video here: ua-cam.com/video/ROONiQCArC4/v-deo.html
With the time of 15 minutes at 100W and the current charge of 43% you can calculate that the real capacity of this powerbank is 58wh, equivalent to 15000ah at 3,7v.
Are these power banks Chinese? I bought my Amblight power bank 65W and 30,000mAh and I see that it has Chinese or Japanese text along with English where the USB ports are located.
Could you please test the 100w powerbank on samsung devices? I would like to know whether it can do the super fast charging 2.0 and super fast charging 1.0. Thanks!
Baseus Blade 100W. in the description on aliexpress it is written that the device itself can be charged from 65W. But what if, to speed up charging, you charge it from two blocks through two connectors of 65 watts each?
Hey does the 100w blade come with an in built qi charger? I see it says it can charge smart watches, sport bands and earbuds (which are mostly via wireless charging), but I don't see the specs saying it has an in built qi charger?
nice video, i have a question though, i got couple of baseus battery-powered gadgets like Tire pump & 350w Power Station, and they discharge pretty quick (even when not in use) compared to well-known brand like Anker (which basicallty never discharge),. is the 100w powerbank have the same issue?
I'm also wondering the same as it came fully discharged. Now I don't see much self discharge, but I'll keep it for some more time without charging and see.
Hello(: Thanks for the detaild test I wanted to ask , if i want to use the 65w power bank for 12v led setup , will it work? Or dose it only work for phonse with special protocols?
it will work,It depends what amperes it uses.if your led setup has more than 5 amperes,it won't work because it need more than 65 watts.I tried this with different led usbs like the 1.5 amp and 2 ampere with 5 volts to my 18 watt power bank,it works fine, the higher the amperes, the more chance it overheats and have fire so be careful, also check the volts you powerbank has,it it does not have 12 volts like your led setup, then it also won't work.also if your phone has guickcharging and made by xiaomi, vivo, oppo, etc,it has proprietary protocols specifically for phones with special protocols,But if it is PD(power delivery) it will work,in conclusiion, yes,it will work just check the specs more.
you dont have any of the equipment to actually test what i wanted to see ,this is a waste of my time YT algorithm brought me garbage to watch. how's the P.E. of the chargers ? did you test the actual sine wave to see if it was perfect ? charges and discharge of the power efficiency ? what a waste.
Great video thanks. I have the Beseus 65W, 30,000 power bank. But on the bottom of this powerbank it says "rated capacity : 18000mAh...Can you clairify that? Thanks agin for your great video:-)...Subbed!
Yes you are right. 30,000mAH (30AH) is at the 3.8V battery voltage. This is the specification of the battery itself. But the 18,000mAH (18AH) rating mentioned is at 5V USB output, because that's the standard output voltage. I know it's confusing, but all the manufacturers use the battery rating to claim more mAH. The more accurate way to rate any power bank will be Watt Hours, in this case it is 114WH (30AHx3.8V). So at 5V it will be 18AHx5V =90WH. There is some conversion loss from 3.8V to 5V that is the efficiency of 90/114 = 78.9%. Which is as per specification of >=75% conversion efficiency. Thanks for your comment and subscribing.
Great video! It's very detailed. Please, could you also tell the discharge time of the 100W power bank at 100% capacity and 20V and 5A. Just the time on the screen would be enough. Thanks!

I don't like the claims baseus make on capacity. Says 20000mah but on the device says 12000mah. That's a lot to loose.
Great test, congrats! Can you put the Ali link to this usb tester that you are using? Tnx

Hello,
Nice video!
Could you confirm that "Baseus 100W Powerbank 20AH" capacity is really 20'000 mAh?
It is rated around 12000 Mah.
With the time of 15 minutes at 100W and the current charge of 43% you can calculate that the real capacity of this powerbank is 58wh, equivalent to 15000ah at 3,7v.

Hello. I have the 100w baseus powerbank. Your powerbank discharged by itself if it has a USBC cable connected without any device? Mine yes!
what is this usb tester that you are using?
Anyone know if the Baseus 100W charges a Lenovo Legion 5i laptop?
What you suggest is the best ?
Does the Blade 100W support PPS output?

Can adaman 20k charge my 18w supported Phone?
Or my 33w supported Pocophone??
Do you know in what mode that 65w power bank goes when you hold the button for few seconds? The 'L' starts flashing on screen.
Could you please also tell the discharge time of the 100W power bank at 100% capacity and 20V and 5A. Just the time on the screen would be enough.
Can you share the link for xiaomi powerbank used in the video?
I can't find alot online. Does the 100watt blade powerbank support low current charging?
Wow, awesome video!

Baseus Blade 100W. in the description on aliexpress it is written that the device itself can be charged from 65W. But what if, to speed up charging, you charge it from two blocks through two connectors of 65 watts each?
Its limited to 65W device charging. You can't get around that without changing the circuitry board
