      @fendibabii2118 I’ve said that before but people just don’t WANT to understand lol. Cats like Pac and Prodigy that was art school kids had to “dumb” so much of the messages in the music down for the average fan to connect. If you know how to listen properly, cats like Pac, BIG, Nas, Prodigy were all talking about the same things and trying to pull the youth into the right path. That’s why BIG said before he passed he didn’t want to keep talking about hustling in all his records anymore because he wasn’t living like that anymore…

  • @delmarfo
    @delmarfo 8 місяців тому +54

    For those fans and rappers who say Tupac wasn't a 'lyricist' don't understand what lyricism means. Pac's first verse on 'Still I Rise' is one of the greatest verses ever written.
    "Somebody wake me, I'm dreaming,
    I started as a seed of semen,
    Swimming upstream, planted in the womb while screaming,
    On the top was my pops, my mama screaming stop,
    From a single drop this is what they got..." The amount of skill that takes to put those words together and make you visualise what he's talking about is extraordinary. To add, you could feel Pac emotionally and I think that's why people brush over his lyrical ability because they're more focused on how the music touched their soul. It's almost as if the other stuff didn't matter.

      Yet when Cassidy battle raps he’s borderline terrible and gets booed every time.

      @@puritanave313 thats the most dumbest statement anyone can say. Pac had many lyrical songs if you aren’t a real pac fan you mostly haven’t heard of them other than his popular songs with dumbed down lyrics

      Cassidy is not that lyrical to me most the times I hear him it's the same formula..Tupac was lyrical in the sense that he could rap with different words "lyrical"

    Listen to "No More Pain", then tell me he wasn't Lyrical. The way Pac hits beat notes to perfection is unmatched 👌

      Damn that shii crazy …it’s like ppl never move on from the past no matter how good other ppl are ..like somebody could legit make the greatest music ever or score 100 points and they will still
      Say pac is better or Jordan is better …it’s like “why even do it if there’s no possible way of becoming the best

    Imagine every track recorded with 2pac in the studio , his energy, determination and voice delivery and lyrical flow. No rapper's don't come close all the tracks he has accomplished in just about 4yrs 😮, simply untouchable 💯🎧🎶☯️💫🔥👑🇬🇭
