Looking at Jay through a rapper lens is small. Jay came in as an owner. PAC couldn't bail his self out and Suge had to do it. Nas’s story is different. Nas would have still been Nas because his first album laid a foundation for most rappers that came after including Jay Z. Pac and Biggie were great no doubt but Nas was already in his own lane and even Pac knew Nas had a big influence at that time though I wouldn’t say the same for Jay Z.
Looking at Jay through a rapper lens is small. Jay came in as an owner. PAC couldn't bail his self out and Suge had to do it. Big owed Puff like 5 more albums so he was technically in the hole. _Jay was financially in a better situation when they were all alive in 96_ . That's how we see Jay today, dude can rap but business is his thing. Those wheels were already in motion. In other words Jay was always gonna win the money game and be a dope rapper too. Pac admitted Me n My Girlfriend was inspired by I Gave You Power
Everybody should know that by now
Classic interview Cass salute my guy 👌✊

Biggie lives on because the beef with pac
If It Wasn’t For That He Wouldn’t Be Talked About
@@Bidness100 yes sir
This narrative always been stupid to me lol. Then why did “life after death” go diamond in two years, but it took 18 years for a Tupac album to go diamond…? All eyez on me was released before life after death and still took 17 more years to go diamond…make it make sense lol.
@@MrMessyb Nobody Really Thinking About Biggie These Day’s Let It Go
@@Bidness100 lol again nonsense. He’s still referenced in lyrics by current rappers - Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Styles P, to name a few of many!
Jay Z's verse in "So Appalled" pretty much sums up what everyone says about him now and that verse was over 10 years ago.
"How should I begin this? I'm just so offended
How am I even mentioned by all these fuckin beginners?"
"Dark Knight feeling, die and be a hero
Or live long enough to see yourself become a villain
I went from the favorite to the most hated
But would you rather be underpaid or overated?"
Well said. One of my favorite verses from Jay Z.
That’s different he saying Pac and Big was bigger even when Jay was present lol y’all Stans man
Jay z still garbage
@kobrathadon4956 how he garbage when he one of the greats. Plenty rappers mention Jay, Wayne and 50 both mentioned him in songs. You must be a new fan.
The Jay hate is real but I like it. It's sad and funny and little bit pathetic 😂
Nas came out before Biggie
True but big made them do commercial songs they had to keep up meaning Nas as well his first album classic but after that the mafioso rap that big took commercial had the Nas,Raekwon,Az and hov and etc follow
That Dynasty intro crazy too
I agree with Cassidy period.. jayz wouldn't be a billionaire if biggie and 2pac was here period
Ready to die is a classic Hip Hop/Music album.
Cassidy is now in my top 5 for hip hop artist being interviewed
You wouldn’t have a top 5 hip hop artist being interviewed if it wasn’t for the people who had a top 5 before you 😂
Ja was definitely influenced even 50 cent knew that 😂 we all knew DMX had love for pac thi every rapper from the late 90s 2000s took a bit of pac style
Glad folks finally keepin it real about who’s really the best out NY
I agree with Cassidy, jay z wasn't in the same realm as Biggie, Tu pac, & big L at the time. But nas was young & was nice in 1994 so I don't agree about nas. But Jay z was good but these 4 are monsters.
In my opinion B.I.G. had 3 albums, his 2 plus Junior Mafia’s album.
Yeah he did write that whole album besides klepto verses
He really had like 5 or 6 don't forget about Kim & puff album
@@beenhavingsht2479 yeah thats what gene says if you count his albums plus junior mafia kim album and puff definitely 5
@@RealFloxks59 rs they act like big was Sittn around not doing shit cus pac got a 1000 songs big was really pushing his artists lil Kim literally is the best female rapper ever
nas would 100% still be nas without big and pac. illmatic, which came out the same year as ready to die (and was recorded in 92 and 93) is the best rap album of that era, if not one of the best ever.
Lol they only talk about his debut album so he peaked his 1st album? What about the other albums.
@@Chosen1777Originalfacts. He was nasty nas then became Esco and started spitting more crime boss themed lyrics like big did.
Nas was Nas before biggie or 2pac was them Nas was the first with 5 mics Nas influenced Biggie 2pac and Jayz. Jayz is Nas first born son. Man y’all need to do your research homework Nas is the Goat period. And illmatic It was written I am Stillmatic Lost Tapes God Son Life is Good KD KD2 KD3 Magic Magic 2 Magic 3 stop playing Nas got the best catalog in hip hop history

Pac debuted before Nas or BIG.
Thus, e.g., when Pac debuted on "Same Song" in 1991, Nas was no where to be found. Further, Pac starred in "Juice" in 1991 as well, even though Nas was no where to be found.
@@wnnfrhrw4452live from the bbq came out in 1991 bruh...
DMX and ja rule both were influenced and studied PAC no brainer
I remembering go in the record store and seeing a new Pac album cassette but when I looked closer it was Ja Rule with a backwards bandanna.
Just my opinion...
I think Pac & Big basically set the bar for 90's rappers (or the ones after them). Nas & Jay-Z careers really blew up and they benefited from the absence of Pac & Big. We'll never truly know if Jay or Nas would have been on their level at some point but A LOT of dudes like DMX, Ja, Em, 50, etc., got to shine due to the absence of Pac & Big.
I think DMX was very authentic and himself. Ja Rule imo... is a whole other story that was like a flash in the pan.
I totally agree!❤
ja rule is under rated
Nas had 2 classics before they died. Nas also influenced Tupac. Pac called him the ring leader because he was the best one out
Nas fell.off because big and pac died.... nas knew he was better than jay z ..... nas would of done more if pac was alive .... nas ripped Jay with ether and he could of done more songs..... Jay z the most overratted rapper...... Jay z lost every rap battle he had .. he takes ppl songs that are hot jumps on and makes them his even sometimes .... all his best songs ain't alone ... Jay the biggest fraud
Nas was poppin since Live at the BBQ and illmatic came out at 94 😂 Nas was before all them 😅
Imagine a Tupac and Dmx collab. That would have been crazy!
It almost happened bc Death Row was trying to sign DMX.
@@Man_eeedamm fr ?
@solomo3456 Yeah but Ruff Ryders didn't let that happen, probably saved DMX tbh Suge Knight is not trustworthy. They talk about it on a Ruff Ryders Documentary search on here YT
Nas came out before Big.
DMX lied and said he never even listened to Pac, ever
Nice interview 🫡
Biggies album dated is insane 😂
i dont believe X was INFLUENCED by 2pac but he benefited from Pac not being here. Pac left a void that connected to the ppl and X genuinely had the aura and energy that connected to the ppl so he was able to fill that space.
Right...i always thought it was a lazy narrative...x was a cross breed between scarface n onyx...pac was a cross breed between scarface n ice cube....theyre both influenced by scarface....i think if every1 did their research they'd find most of dmx 1st 3 albums are recycled rhymes from the early 90s....n he had the bald head n shirt off back then...
'people not rating BIG as a top 10 Rapper" I've never ever heard people say that
Art coming across shady with that statement
He say a lot of backhanded sh!t. Dude is a complete weirdo
He's a Pac Stan who's not fond of BIG
Pac stans are the worst there is no helping them 😅
Yall dodo’s would benefit from reading, BIG is always being rated as top 10 by billboards. Get the house😂
