Love this! I recently moved to Paris for work and had so many people tell me the food was overhyped. Honestly some of the best food experiences I’ve had are here.
I eat cheap, but great when I'm in Paris! I hit up the corner store for some drinking yogurt, a baguette and a pâté de canard. I pick a nice bench or spot to people watch as I enjoy the grub, then go splurge on some gelato

As much as I enjoy watching you eat amazing everyday meals for regular people and super low cost street food... the videos where you eat fine dining are something special. Someone who can eat as much as you has found their dream job!

The " garlic vinegar sauce " is a mignonette. Nowadays made with minced shallots, vinegar and pepper.
My mother would always make it and bring a jar to our local Blue Claw Crab festival in Nyack, NY along the banks of the Hudson river.
Also at the end I think it's a Yuzu pie, because I'm not sure the US export Key lime, simply because the production isn't big enough. I don't think I've ever eaten a Key lime pie in Paris.

@@erindemay2858 Thank you ! I'll note that there are 4 restaurants named "La Verrière" in Paris, but this one is in an hotel called Hotel Niépce. It is the sunday brunch and the price is 75€/person, 45€ for children, from 12h to 15h30 (except in august, when it is closed, like so many things in Paris during that month, so if you are planning to visit, avoid august), according to the hotel website.

Your comment about the soup made me laugh out loud, because us long time fans know how you are about broccoli, Mike! The exchange between you and Miss Christine was adorable, and that lasagna was a proper dish worthy of Garfield. Living the dream and letting us in on it is a highlight of every weekend for me. Oh, BTW--did you eat at Zippy's when you were in HI? It's high on my list of places to go eat when I'm there in September.

I'm so jealous of how much you can eat. I don't go to buffets because I am full after like 5 to 10 bites so I never get my money worth. You eat so much freaking food & get to enjoy so many different things. Yep I'm totally jealous lol

It was really interesting seeing you eat through both buffets, as you're frequently eating some form of Asian cuisine that you're very familiar with and this was at least a little out of your wheelhouse. Like you said, "... so many things I don't recognize and wanna put in my mouth."

I've never been to France but it's definitely on my places to go love to go to Paris.
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buff
