More amazing cinematography from Matt, miles better than most of what we see on the actual tv. Love the choice of background music too! Joe is charming as ever, he should replace that naughty Wallace bloke and present Masterchef.
TSOT is pure gold! Like at the end of this episode when we get to see Joe and Billy making a deal for the ace carded Fisher Price Adventure People Space items that we saw at the start of EP2 - you could have left us guessing, but you didn't. That level of care and attention is what makes this show The Best! Also loved the background music when Joe & Billy were checking out the vintage LPs - haus musik for Knight Rider, segueing into something suitably rifftastic for the vintage metal vinyls \m/ My favourite items from this week were the Meister Des Universums invisible gnomes - I have a set, but mine are loose. And continuing the "invisible" theme - that translucent X-ray-Barbie with the cat-eye glasses ... Only seen very briefly but made me say, "Wait! What?!" I think I want one ... 😮
What a great review! It’s nice to hear the effort we put into setting the mood with the sound track doesn’t go unnoticed. Back in a few weeks with an episode I’m sure won’t disappoint. Many Thanks Matt
Highly enjoyable guys... men... dudes. Such a well made show, it even makes my wife tune in instead off getting the house holliday ready, and that ending was friggin hilarious! 👌
I was going through my loft yesterday and found a Solitaire from my childhood. Didn’t know what it was and then watched this episode! What are the odds of that?!
One of my favorite toys from my early childhood, Fisher Price Adventure People (still got quite some figures, plus a helicopter and fire truck/ambulance with all the accessories) . A few days ago I found at a thrift store a speedboat and 4 figures for only €5,-, only one female figure and the oxygen tanks were included, not the waterskis and sub diver. Greetings from The Netherlands.
Thanks for the video Joe and crew. It really hit the spot. Also, look at you, scratching that Knight Rider itch, that show still holds up, watched it some months ago again for the millionth time, and loved every second of it.
2:15: Joe, didn't you fall off the back of van not that long ago (in terms of recovery) and smash your back up? Take it easy with all that lifting and get Billy Galaxy to help!
Great video as always. I listened to a bit of Guy-Mann Dude after watching this. Not my cup of tea. Unlike that Star Wars play mat - what a display piece!
Love TSOT but am sad its rhe last one. I know you've done tours of what's in your shop, bit ever thought about filming a day, what people buy, what they sell general chitchat. Toy federation gets massive numbers and is great to watch but we need something smiling for the UK. Just a thought. Thanks for such brilliant videos, your legends
'Golden Girls'!? Wasn't that a US series about three old women house sharing? I didn't watch it personally, but I'm fairly sure I would've remembered if one of them had ridden an AD&D style chariot. It was never in the opening titles anyway, and that's as far as I usually got before switching over... Great video anyway, machochapbloke dudefellaguys!
A lot of people stream it to their TV’s and watch it on the big screen. It’s also watched by families together and a few celebrities, but no it’s a youtube series made in the style of broadcast TV the kind we are fans of. We have also been approached by a TV channel but that’s a story for another day. Hope you like it either way?
@@SpoonJarFilms I love it, Im already a fan for a while but was wondering if it really was on TV especially because of Joe's famous non TV upbringing! Thanks a lot for your answer and all the hard work!!!
@ He did get a TV eventually and also watched it round friends’ houses 😂 We’d love it to be on TV for the exposure and might mean we get remunerated for making it but we might also lose a lot of freedom. TSOT isn’t made by committee so we have a lot of control over what it looks like and the feel of the whole thing. Glad you dig it, that’s cool to hear
The only program I watch with excitement and passion. Never missed a single episode. Just about darn perfect. Love it. 👏👏👏👏
Toy Shop on Tour returns next week with a cracking episode, thanks for watching them all thus far Mark 👏
