If they only had a Kenobi mod. Like where Cameron Monaghan's voice is replaced by Ewan McGregor's, and "Cal" is replaced by "Kenobi", and they replace Cal's lightsaber with Kenobi's.

6:45 That's exactly what's happening. As far as the game is concerned she and the boxes are not meant to leave the ship area, and so they stop rendering once you are far enough away from the ship.
I find it surprising that rendering them is not based on Cal's position (ie proximity to Cal) like other games would do, but the boxes and her were still there, just invisible
BaconNuke, it is. It’s just that it’s loading a new section of the map, so anything within the previous area disappears.
I know what you mean; bringing a thing from one place different one and the having the game loading it there. I honestly don’t play this game, but it seems like they aren’t supposed to freely wander which is probably why.

I found a glitch were you can use your lightsaber on Ilum before you get the split saber. It's were you go against a probe droid and try to parry it. You end up using it until the battle is over and when he puts his lightsaber away it is still ignited and it looks so wierd
I accidentally encountered this glitch multiple times lol, it actually also works on dathomir as well right after you lose your crystal hence how I accidentally did it

Fam I tried to bring boxes on missions multiple times back in December 2019, and they disappear whenever you go on the stairs
All interactable objects and NPCs unload as soon as you enter another section on the map. The positions are retained, but all are stopped being rendered for performance reasons.

I can say from experience, I did the tie fighter thing and went straight through it. They do have a pretty high resolution though for how far away they are.

Ages ago I remember zooming around Dathomir using the flying glitch, and after seeing the sights I came back to the mantis only to find Cere and the gang had packed up and left! I tried running away until the mantis was no longer in sight them coming back, I tried resting at a meditation point. Nothing worked. They'd ditched me. Eventually I had to reboot the game to make them come back. And I've never quite trusted Cere since...

I found that accidentally a few weeks ago but I can't do it again, I was just playing through the game a second time when I hit the activate lightsaber button before I went underwater

I suppose it makes sense that the characters tend to just disappear when you get past certain points, likely loading points for new areas, since they were never really intended to appear outside the zones they're in when you land. Although it's hard to tell if they're fully unloaded or just stop being rendered. The fact they reappear where you push them to makes me think the game actually just stops rendering them but keeps them loaded to make it easier when you return to the landing site.

Go to the giant star fighter at that world you played, if you fly glitch a lot there is a beta mantis location
I figured out around the time the game released for pre order that at the Zeffo landing pad, you can pick up the crates with force pull and chuck em at Greez and Cere. Only problem is that you can't end your adventure prematurely because they won't fall off the ledge. But you can take them with you 😉
