Imagine if people were more like the native American people. I'm sure we would all be much happier.
Well, we should love our neighbors as we do ourselves and our own families.. There is only one race. and that is that is the Human Race. The Two Legged. We are all brothers and Sisters. No reason to harm or hate one of our brothers and sisters because they are different from us. Every person has their own path they were given by The Creator. They have a right to a good life and right to be happy just as we all do. Blessings to you and your good heart.

I am two spirited and I've lost my entire family because of who i am , I am not allowed to see my nieces , nephews, aunt's , uncle ,cousins, or my mother because they are afraid i will put a negative impact on there young impressionable minds , So because of this I do not let people in to easy because why bother with the heart ache. One day this Blackfoot Cherokee with German Engineering will have my day in the Sun .

As well as having two spirits the transgender, gays and lesbians were born of a important purpose. The native Indians knew they are important and put them on higher shelf as in future they'd serve mankind in a life saving way..They were not born of Amy psychiatric disorder or just confused. Higher power created these beings for population control..They ate essential for our survival and should be respected. It was no accident they are born this way. It was life's survival.

because of catholic missionaries theres no name for two spirit in my ancestors language dane-za zaage also known as beaver, my family was disconnected many generations ago because of missionaries. what language is left is dependent on what those catholic missionaries basically "allowed" to exist. i hope to help revitalize the language as well as connect to my two spirit identity if i can.

nickclark89 The message of the Christ was unconditional love and spoke the Golden Rule. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. There are plenty of Christians who work hard for social justice (as did the Christ). It seems like that loudest ones are the reactionary conservative ones who focus more on judging others (like the Pharisee) vs following the message of the Christ.

I am a Christian and I along with my whole church congregation support gay rights. Not all Christians are idiots.
I'm talking about the religion, not individuals, my mother is christian too and she's a big LGBTQ ally.The (occidental) world has changed fortunately but the religion and hierarchy is still as homophobic like in the past.

yes, good but incomplete, one sided. The video misses a large proportion of the two spirit people, the transgender, gender variant as well as the gay women who are also part of this tradition.
This is what I have been thinking for days that Native Americans ALREADY accepted gays. What reason would they have for not doing so? They believed in multiple Gods anyhow so why not accept gays?

Two-Spirit people are all about ballence, but where was the equal representation in this film? Where were the Lesbians, or 4th gendered people??? L. Frank is a Two-Spirit Lesbian who's Indigenous to the L.A. area,....she should've been in this documentary! Plus other Lesbians.
It's just ANOTHER case of men only thinking about themselves,...their stories only. It's interesting how even gay men fall into the mainstream patriarchal miopic mindset of wrongly assuming that their stories are the only ones that matter. This film is a prime example of this one sided exclusionary practice. NOT GOOD.👎

Two people of the same sex can not participate in the game of life simply because they can not replicate. You can not make right wrong or up down to justify your sin.
