I own a TRX now (2023) - blue, 1999 but with StainTune exhaust. With a programmable ignition it runs like a dream and with the rear suspension firmed up it handles very well! 🏍🏍😎😎
Best advice for anyone buying a bike is that provided the bike you are looking at is in good condition, ignore everything anyone tells you. There are no bad bikes out there these days, so if it feels right it is right. One persons dull and slow steering is another's stable and smooth. People will recommend what they like, what you need to establish us what you like. You are the only person who knows what that is
I don’t know, a compression check, frame once over, maint history could be the difference between a dream and a money pit. You have no idea how the bike has been molested and there are plenty of bikes out there, no matter how good they are, it doesn’t fit the rider.
The TRX sounds outrageous on an open set of cans and the grey import model has Brembo brakes and a racing intake system. By the way Mr Hammond the frame is a truss not a "trellis" as found in a garden fence.
Was the TRX sold in the US? It reminds me of a parallel twin version of my FZ6. Neither really fit into a specific category...the FZ6 seems to be whatever it is in the eye of the owner.
I could not think of a better comment about this video, , , but let me rephrase yo , , , Francesca is , , , oooohhh my god somebody kick me in the balls and hit me in the head with a shovel please lovely.
@@jamesbaker1214 you don't think Richard Hammond is either an authentic rider or knowledgeable and enthusiastic presenter? Have you seen his bike collection....or Top Gear...or Grand Tour?
The blonde woman doesn't know what she's talking about. I ride a street fighter style bike with no plastics and the engine showing.. " oh so a sort of cruiser bike"
lol, so she rode a slow, 70hp naked, and these guys throw her on a 110 hp supersport... she did say she didnt want more power, and she uses the bike to commute. worst recommendation.... A sport tourer or an f4i would've suited much better.

You are absolutely right, very good comment.

Never were truer words spoken!
Love this series!
This red-black is the best colour scheme for the TRX
No that's blue or only black

😂😂
mmmm, the TRX...
Why has episode 2 been removed???
I'd take the gsxr600 Suzuki. Looks very cool and has HALF the miles of the Honda.
8:48 hammond's teeth whitening confirmed
08:11 thats at the bottom of my street i had to go back and check i thought it looked familiar

Your FZ6 aka FZ6n is a Naked as is the FZ1n.
Suzuki forever.
Gary, I would have done a proper, strong repair with fiberglass + glass fabric for reinforcement. Far stronger than your repair.
It will be as good as new strength wise, especially if done on the opposite side too, then prepped and painted, no need for the faff of fibre glass.
ME FOREVER : }
FRANCESCA IS LOVELY!!

This show would've been better with actual and authentic riders/enthusiasts for presenters, who actually know what they're rabbiting on about.
You are serious, right?

what a ridiculous premise for a show, give an amateur a 10 minute ride through town THEN have them rate the bike for performance and reliability!

Never give your wife any keys.
How's she going to get in? Oh! you don't like your wife, I get it.
I concur. House keys included!

The f4i was brand new at this time, it is a show about used bikes.
None of them for me!!
It's my mum (Anne) in this and she ended up with a suzuki gsx600f, so she went sport tourer in the end 🤙
@@more_riffage_in_my_diet is she still into bikes?
@@richardday3862 She's passed away many years ago and left her gsxf600 to me. She loved it til the end mate
