Would this only help outpatient coding or will it also help inpatient coding? I’m taking an assessment for ob this week for the inpatient side

Great question! Yes, outpatient coding for physician billing. Wouldn’t benefit hospital billing unless you were billing for the provider. 😊

@ShamyraC I downloaded your guide, I see a lot of surgery codes or procedures for office visits. Can we get like a normal office visits codes. Im working for the billing/coding of an obgyn office (I'm a new cpc)I see a lot of coding from codes Z instead of chapter 15:O. Im a little confused. please help

Hi Alejandra! Welcome to OBGYN! So, you’re saying you do more coding with Z-codes for the office? Where as for me I do more chapter 15 codes. I don’t do the office coding for well woman exams, or ultrasounds, I strictly do office procedures and the prental visits. I don’t have much information on the office stuff outside of this because our providers are responsible for choosing the correct office e/m codes and icd-10.
