how did it take so long for Israel to assess the number of hostages and casualties, and it always takes one minute for Hamas to give their number of casualties, (they usually multiply at least by 1000) . Of course, everyone believes Hamas who is a great manipulator.
To your point we can look at the beginning of this war when the Hamas ministry of health reported Israel had hit the hospital with a bomb & within minutes he said at least 500 civilians were killed. Then of course it was for d to be a rocket of Hamas that had fallen short and hit the hospital and all of a sudden the numbers went from 500 to 20 people dead. Rockets have been fired into Israel frm Gaza for decades and many time they have killed their own people. The Ministry of Health is part of Hamas. No one has been able to verify any of those numbers and when given they never include the 15 thousand Hamas fighters that have been killed so far.
