      I'm sorry to hear that, my best advice is to listen to your doctors and do your best to rest and heal. The more you push yourself the longer the recovery

      What are your symptoms? I got this 5 weeks ago.. myo/pericarditis. I’m having like shortness of breath or like my chest is heavy and it’s not a satisfying breath.

      @@bigbuu4334 just chest pains amd headaches also fatigue. I had a head mri and they think its csf leak but who knows. Chest pain they just say anxiety and costochondritis. Try asking your dr for colchisine for peri. I also have short of breathe, but my pulse ox is always above 96

    Hey man thanks for the vid, so your diagnosis was reccurent pericarditis and your pretty much cured now? i have it also since october 2021, relapsed after being sick september 2022, struggling right now and i literally just started the steroid and its made it worse. just want some hope that itll resolve

    • @DarkEag1e
      @DarkEag1e  Рік тому +1

      Pretty much cured, yeah. Everyone basically needs to figure out their medication regimen with their doctor by listening to their body. I couldn't do steroids either because they were making me worse. I go over that a bit in my first video. Just take it easy and be kind to yourself during this!

      @@DarkEag1e 2 quick questions, have you been sick since you recovered and did it bring back the peri? and how long did you take the steroids until you realised it was making it worse so you had to stop.

    • @DarkEag1e
      @DarkEag1e  Рік тому

      @@steeeez I took steroids like for 2 days and felt really bad so I stopped. I've been sick since recovering, and sometimes I just have to take Advil or Aleve to stay safe. Hope that helps!

    What tests detected your Pericarditis?
    I've got my X-Ray and ECG reports yesterday, X-ray was normal but ECG (Electrocardiograhy) report said I have Sinus Bradycardia ( which means low heart rate)
    But I have the symptoms of Pericarditis
    Suddenly I get a sharp pain as if someone was stabbing me with a pin or knife ( like a real sharp pain) and I couldn't take a deep breath as it would worsen my pain. It usually lasts for few seconds to few minutes and then the pain gone. It used to happen once in a month or 6 months or even week sometimes. Initially I ignored it coz it lasts for few sec to few minutes and then the pain would go away.
    Last week it lasted for half an hour, omg I was so scared, and after that I got that attack 4-5 times this week. I told my mother about this, immediately called my Uncle Who's a doctor, he advised me to get my ECG and X-Ray done.
    Now that I got my reports, it didn't diagnose the cause of my sharp sudden chest pain, it only said my heart rate was low. I consulted Cardiologist, he said I need Echocardiography as well.
    As I was searching my symptoms on Google, it said these are the symptoms of Pericarditis. Then I saw a couple of medical Videos on UA-cam about Pericarditis, I feel I might have Pericarditis.
    I'm just 19 years old and feeling very anxious about it.

      @DarkEag1e  Рік тому +3

      Sorry you're going through that! The test that was important for me was a blood test. It identified key proteins that showed inflammation in the heart. My pain was more of an all over pressure but maybe you have peri. I'd definitely get a blood test, and make sure you have a cardiologist that helps/cares.

      Did you find out what it was? I'm having the same issues wondering if it's pericarditis.
