Bike Build - Sillgey Phantom

This awesome Sillgey Phantom is on the stand today, the frame and fork have beautiful features and details, built with Sillgey 757 double butted tubing. Sillgey was based in California and this frame was produced around 2009-2012.
If anyone has any more info on Sillgey it would be awesome to hear!

I’m not quite sure how the company claims to say they build these frame in California (perhaps they just buy the tubing and lugs?). I’ve never heard of them however I have that exact frame in my garage but it’s a 2014 or so made by Maxway (for Fuji Obey collab and SE Bikes). Edit: Just noticed the rear dropout is stamped ‘Maxway’.

Crank is slightly bent. Watch the center nut when he spins it.

That will be the black plastic cap on the bolt, they sometimes don’t sit fully flush
