- After being in lockdown for a few months, the normal life is coming back to the UK.
It's summertime and we have been having a few hot days lately. It's a great excuse to take a walk in the city.
My journey begins on Northumberland St., where I continued walking and headed to Monument and showed around it. After that, I walked on Grainger St, which is where my video ended.

Northumberland Street is a major shopping street in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England. It is home to a wide range of different retailers, banks and cafes, and in terms of rental per square foot, Northumberland Street is the most expensive location in the UK outside London to own a shop.

I lived in NCL for 5 years before, thu moved to other city now but still think it is the best city for living in the UK

I love Newcastle Upon Tyne. It is not big and has everything you need. Good shops, restaurants, schools, nightlife, housing and also an international airport that connects the world.
I would like to explore this city more and hopefully show to the world.
The surrounding towns are also very nice and beautiful.

Newcastle has a very nice feel about it .
Its friendly clean . Busy. The nightlife is something else .plus its got lots of nice unique areas..like the quayside . The

Amazing how Northumberland Street has changed over the years. I still remember getting the old No 8 bus from Ridley Place to Beacon Lough in Gateshead. Never thought it would be pedestrianised. :)

Pedestrianisation makes such a difference. No need to worry about getting flattened by a big yellow & white bus now! I lived in the North East in the 1970s and again in the 1980s. I left in 1993. I have many good memories of The Toon & The Geordies. I really want to visit soon.

I’ve not been to Glasgow yet, so I can’t say exactly which is safer/better.
But Newcastle is quite safe with a great infrastructure.
Newcastle is a better city to visit by far. Much more to do culture shopping night life plenty of day trips Whitley bay st Mary's lighthouse catch a game at St James park Glasgow is a horrible city
