My philosophy: I don’t smoke , drink or do drugs but I like crafting and I spend my money on that. Your crafts room and items in it are your business. Tell everyone else to get a life 😀
You should totally get peg board, paint it white and then get the hooks and you could hang up your stickers and display them that way. You could also get the basket attachments for the board as well.
All of us crafter's (paper crafter's especially I think) Have tons of stuff. It's not all perfectly organized and unless you've got a huge room or space, it never will be. I have portions of my stuff (stamps, planner, and each season organized in drawers, two 4 drawer file cabinets, and tubs in my middle bedroom. I also have an old chest and very tall shelf in that room that helps keep it in check. I have a couple of other cabinets and shelves that are organized but not in that room. It's easy to get it messed up and hard to get it reorganized. So I know where you're coming from on the space thing. We do the best we can when we can! It will be fun watching you get organized and new furniture and all of that. I enjoyed watching you color and beautiful job! I do the same sometimes and love the larger images too.Yay Lisa Frank!
Marie, don't think coloring is silly, it's actually very therapeutic and calming. I watched a girl who has the largest coloring book collection I've ever seen, I cannot remember her name, but she has ordered and showed her hauls in a few videos, its envious all that she has, tons of Disney and they are so cool... she also knows she will never ever color everything! But, it makes her happy!! Just as all the things you have and do make you and others happy. I've followed you for a number of years now, in fact you were the first UA-camr I ever watched, you introduced me to the addiction of UA-cam, LOL. But it gives me so much enjoyment and inspiration. Marie keep doing what you do, so many of us in the media world would be quite sad if you ever stop sharing with us. It's easy for a craft room to get disorganized. ☺ My craft room is also a spare bedroom and easily becomes a catch all room. When I put my Christmas decor away last week, I got in an organize/decluttered mood and finally have it back to normal. So now to get the rest of the house organized. Have a great evening Marie!
Hello again ! Lol oh my Lanta when I saw Nancy Drew ...." The secret of the old clock" in your drawer Marie I was shookith so many awesome memories of Nancy Drew....I think I read every single one of her books. Then when I saw the candy wrapper I had to laugh because .....that was me ...reading on my bed eating candy lol. My memory is so 💩y though, 😳😬 am I dreaming this up in my head or did she have a book called......... "Up the down staircase"? I can so relate to the craft room struggle....I don't have proper storage ..well not enough , I have a big dresser among other storage units. I am having such a hard time knowing where to put stuff. I get so frustrated lol, I really enjoyed watching you colour,it was so relaxing...I prefer the kids colouring books because the adult ones often seem to take forever to finish a page so I end up getting bored. I think as we grow older, it is fun to still do things that brought us joy as kids. I think coloring and playing with playdoh are very therapeutic. I wish I was skilled enough to crochet or do needlepoint, but I can still find lots of things to do to keep my hands busy :)
I need to reorganize my craft room. It seems i have a 6x6 INCH space to work on lol. Problem is i start cleaning and get totally inspired by stuff i found again and back i am with 6x6 inch work space. I’m hopeless!!!!!!

Once upon a time, I had a craft room that looked just like yours. Drove my husband nuts. Then baby #2 came and we turned it into a nursery. That baby is older and is really into crafting. 😂 I guess that room was just meant for crafters.
Making your own coloring book is a wonderful idea. I don't like the adult coloring book because it is too busy and the children's coloring book is too childish so your idea is wonderful. I'd certainly buy it.
Btw... if you use binders it’s easier. I would start by seasonal and then sort the stickers into different season binders. My opinion. That’s what I did and it was 8 bucks at the Dollar Tree.

Very much like my friend Jill she loves new craft items, at 74 she’s still buying card making stock but last year she got into hand made patchwork bags for church sales so material ; fat quarters I believe they are called are creeping in. Nothing wrong with it there are many worse things you could be buying
