Great to see you back James. I think the fact that the cable was tied in the packaging just like a hangman's noose gives an insight on what this device wants to do to you!

First BigClive, then Dave from the EEVBlog, and now you. It looks like this device is doing the rounds amongst the techies.

+Elliott Veares To be honest with you i actually filmed this in January, just took me a long time to get it out. its was just too ridiculously dangerous not to get hold of one, just for the novelty factor.
      Thanks for the comment.

I guess ebay has cracked down on these things because now in 2021 you can't find them anymore, but I know for sure that you could get them there a couple years ago.

Your back mate, excellent! Serious question, as I am not a sparky and all I know about electricity is to avoid it, how does this compare in operation to a domestic 'safe' kettle for boiling water? Perhaps a video comparing the two metheods would be interesting. Cheers!

yep resistance caused by the impurities of the water-electrolysis-just get distilled water then you might live another 5 mins until you pull it out cos its not heating!

Hey James, what are the intro tracks you use? Are they self produced? Love the other dnb ones and the breaks one in this video and would love a copy. Support!

Saw a hotdog cooker that worked very similar. You placed the hotdogs ends on blunt prongs and turned it on. 110v coarsed directly through the salty hotdog and heated it instantly. You also had the pleasure of an ozone taste and smell! LOL

Maybe in China they use IT electricity systems. I mean IT - isolate terre, so basically isolated ground/neutral.

Nice to see you back on YT Viper Frank! Mind you what does a water heater do that a kettle doesn't? Apart from fry you to smithereens of corse!

+MarkPMus I think this product is aimed towards like camping or just general portable applications, where you would run it off a power inverter or a generator.
most kettles are between 2.5 - 3 KW, as this one is only 300 watts, i guess it could be considered more inverter/ generator friendly.
To be honest you can get 250 watt camping kettles, that are a much safer and cleaner solution.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos and thank you for your comment.
