Oh man! I loved this! I've been to the Smithsonian twice and it never disappoints. You never get to see it all. Barbara Eden recently donated her Jeannie bottle. She kept it all these years. It even survived the earthquake in 1994. I'm glad to see they gave it such a wonderful display!
I absolutely love when you do the museum vlogs! The kids being loud in there was unreal Ty and I can't wait till another one! Take care and safe travels ❤️
I visited there back in the 1990s and saw the Bunkers chairs, Fonzie's leather jacket and the ruby red slippers. It was all so neat and I hope to go back some time.
Went here in the early 90’s as a kid and I remember another pair of sequin slippers, the ones I seen were worn out completely on the inside, also the shoes aren’t under a light anymore because the light was fading the shoes.
Thank you so much for this video! I've always wanted to go to The Smithsonian Museums and this was just like I was right there with you. Thank you, Jordan!
Jordan you did such a great job in a pretty busy & noisy museum. Love that you always have a back story about the items which makes your vlog so interesting. Glad to hear you will do a 2nd one there. There's so much for you to see in Washington DC. The city will do you well with all the possibilities for your vlog. Thanks Jordan.
This was terrific - really hope you have time enough to vlog a second floor. Once more, many thanks Jordan for taking us to all these marvellous locations, it is truly appreciated.
I was there almost 20 years ago. A lot of the same stuff, but definitely some things I wish I could have seen. Could literally spend days going through all of the museums. Fantastic.
I’m so glad you showed the MASH sign! We are from Toledo and that was one of the things I wanted to see when we were there (several years ago), but it wasn’t on display at that time. I am in fact currently right across the street from Tony Packo’s and just down from Toledo Waite High School, both of which which Klinger mentions on the show.
I live fairly close to DC and Gett to the Smithsonian Museum of history at least a couple times a year. Its all fascinating to me, I always find and learn something new every time I am there. The entertainment items are a favorite of mine, A facinating place!
Great Vlog Jordan! We love the Smithsonian Museum of American History. We used to visit almost every year but have not been in about 6 years. Thanks for visiting for us!
Thank you Jordan love this kind of stuff!! Have visited DC went to Ford Theater and a lot of other sites didn’t get to the Smithsonian on that trip. Will have to go again!
Thank you for this video, Jordan! My family and I visited the Smithsonian back in 1998 - just before I turned 10 years old. I loved it back then...but a revisit has been on my list for years, not just for the Smithsonian, but for all of D.C. I feel like I'd appreciate it a lot more now that I'm in my mid-30s.
Thank you. You always do such an amazing thorough job. I feel like I didn’t miss a thing. Always love your videos ❤OMG i am aging myself but I had one of those original cable boxes😂 completely forgot that’s how it started. I remember MTV being the 3rd switch down.
Have always wanted to go there. Hopefully one day. My dad did take my brother and I to go through the Freedom Train in 1977. Seen some cool stuff like the ruby slippers, her dress and basket. John Waynes patch from True Grit and some other cool stuff. Until I hope to visit there, thank you Jordan for taking us along. I love it!
Excellent video. I'm amazed why some items are there at all (a costume from Star Trek Discovery), but I'm sure many are rotated in and out like Fonzie's jacket (as you mentioned). Going there has been on my bucket list - also to see the air and pace museum, where the original Starship Enterprise is displayed.
Thanks for this amazing video Jordan! I flew all the way to Washington DC twice to see this museum and both times it was under construction and closed. Oh well such is life. I'm just as happy experiencing it through the lens of Jordan the Lion 😊. Traci Johnson Francisco ❤
I love the Smithsonian! I have been to Washington D. C. twice and I still haven't seen everything in this museum. Also The Henry Ford Museum is also great in Dearborn Michigan. Great post.
There is so much to see at the Smithsonian, I would love to spend at least 3 days there just for that. I haven’t been back to DC since I went for a class trip to Clinton’s inauguration.
What a wonderful place. I would love to go there some day. Thank you for showing us around. I hope you film more floors. Maybe you could ask if there is any Lucy stuff and where is Fonzie jacket? I enjoyed this. Stay safe and take care.
There is only a small portion of the collection on display at any one time. Not as good but the website will allow you to see everything. Also All in the family was still in production when the Smithsonian Asked for the chairs. So replicas were fabricated for production to continue and the originals were sent to the Smithsonian.
Talking Heads Little Creatures original album cover painting is kept in The Smithsonian. I want to go there to see this. I loved seeing Cyndi Lauper's dress. Another favorite artist.
WOW Jordan! This video was awesome! I could have watched it for hours! Was so cool to see Mr. Roger's shoes and the "Speedy Delivery" uniform. I'm wondering if they have any Bruce Lee memorabilia.? I can't believe this museum is FREE!!! So cool!😄
Two connections from my hometown made it in this video! One of the Star Spangled Banner versions sung earlier in the video was by Sandi Patti, and the Jackie Robinson ball had a signature by Carl Erskine of Anderson, Indiana fame. He just passed away a few weeks ago. Good to see his signature in the Smithsonian.
The Smithsonian is on my bucket list. Right up there with the Rocky Balboa steps, Skywalker Ranch, the Quick Stop from Clerks, Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash, and Smodcastle Cinemas.
R2 AND 3PO LOVE IT! I've been there, but never made it to that floor. I'll have to go again sometime. WOW Judy Garland's shoes. I assume the ones that Todd Fisher had were one of three? Everything in there is WOW! I'M SPEECHLESS!
I wonder if the Smithsonian tried to bid on the All In The Living Room set but lost to the other guy. That Comisar auction was wild. I wonder who ended up with Johnny Carsons desk and the Cheers bar.
I went to Washington DC in 1967 when i was 5. We did not go to the Smithsonian. Idk if there was a Smithsonian. But i pics of me at JFK's grave, the Lincoln Memorial and a few other landmarks! Thanks for these awesome videos! ❤❤❤❤
Boy they have changed the set up a lot, but then again I was there in the early 80's, so I guess they had to to fit everything that's been added after I was there.
The Irving Berlin hat is official called a “Campaign Hat” …it was the main battle headwear before the ww1 steel helmets circa 1914 …most however associate it with being a drill instructor hat or cover for the Marines
A lot of Jimi Hendrix's items are at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop, formerly the Experience Music Project) in Seattle. Paul Allen was a big fan of Hendrix and amassed a large collection.
When you got to the Archie Bunker's chair display did you say something about Glenn Beck claiming to have the whole original set including the chair ? Because I always heard the original chair was in the Smithsonian , and it was donated to them when Carroll O'Connor was still alive . Also , is that the original Edith's chair from the set next to it ?
Oh man! I loved this! I've been to the Smithsonian twice and it never disappoints. You never get to see it all. Barbara Eden recently donated her Jeannie bottle. She kept it all these years. It even survived the earthquake in 1994. I'm glad to see they gave it such a wonderful display!

Definitely a bucket list of mine. Thank you Jordan!
Loved this vlog! Thanks Jordan. Blessings to you, Katie and Jah. ~Love&Light♥️C.
The Smithsonian Air& Space Museum and American History Museum, I miss being there. I miss Washington DC, my home. Too many precious memories.
tonnes of iconic stuff in there. Recently added was Mad Men's actual outfits.
This was terrific - really hope you have time enough to vlog a second floor. Once more, many thanks Jordan for taking us to all these marvellous locations, it is truly appreciated.

What a great video!!! Just love your visits to all of these great places.
You are pretty freakin’ fantastic Jordan and Jah 🐾 is too!
Very enjoyable, but surprised there were no Elvis or Lucy artifacts. Loved seeing some of the other things though. Thank you.
We went last year and love it there! You mentioned I Love Lucy, would love to see you go to Jamestown for a Lucy tour and museum.
I've already done it
@@DazewithJordantheLion I'll have to find it
I was there & saw Archie & Edith's chair when I was 16 in 1993
You did a great job Jordan. Much appreciated. Enjoyed it alot 👍👍
"The way it should be, poking humor at the absurdity of life." You said it brotha! 🤘

Awesome video, thank you!! I especially love the Bunkers chairs
Thank you much for showing this. I love your personable you are….i always feel like I’m with you

I remember using that cable box. Wired to the box, had to switch to each row depending on what channel you wanted to watch.
Just went there in DC and didn’t see as much as you have here bc we were in a rush. Thanks for taking us through the exhibits slowly
awesome tour of Smithsonian so neat to see all memorabilia

DC is the ultimate destination for those who love museums. The Smithsonian art museum is the best I have ever seen.

The SMITHSONIAN was my Favorite Museum when we lived in D.C. in the 1970's. It was a small museum then, it was in the old Castle looking building.
Great tour! Thank you!

Awesome vlog Jordan! I have been there plenty of times.
Went there for spring break my freshman year. It was really nice!

Very cool vlog thanks
I would love to see the smithsonian instatute in washington dc good vlog jordan
Enjoyed, Jordan and Jah
I don't know why Jon Stewart's lil' suit tickles me so, but it does.
I wonder if the Smithsonian tried to bid on the All In The Living Room set but lost to the other guy. That Comisar auction was wild. I wonder who ended up with Johnny Carsons desk and the Cheers bar.
I doubt it.
Thank you for sharing that with us
They chose ruby slippers for the Wizard of Oz movie because they looked better on camera. In the books the shoes are silver.
I enjoyed this.
Great video thankyou
I've been there years ago. Lived that place.
Classic Jordan with a classic entertainment tour.
Thanks Jordan ❤
That was great; thank you! 🥳
You need to go to White Plains NY and see where Woodstock was! It’s amazing! Lots of Hendrix stuff!!
I went to Washington DC in 1967 when i was 5. We did not go to the Smithsonian. Idk if there was a Smithsonian. But i pics of me at JFK's grave, the Lincoln Memorial and a few other landmarks! Thanks for these awesome videos! ❤❤❤❤
Go sometime amd give us a full tour of every building lol. That might be the only way I ever see it.
I was there 4 years a go and saw the ruby red slippers and saw a part of a plain that was from
Sdu
Thanks Jordan! I was there years ago, I wan't to go again.
Man Jordan. All the boxing stuff and I can't believe they have Sandow stuff. Mind blowing.
Boy they have changed the set up a lot, but then again I was there in the early 80's, so I guess they had to to fit everything that's been added after I was there.
Nice part about those starcomm 2 cable boxes, you could jam a toothpick in the switches to get channels you didn’t have a subscription to
I luuuuuve museums☺️☺️; roadside attractions too 🤣😁
The Irving Berlin hat is official called a “Campaign Hat” …it was the main battle headwear before the ww1 steel helmets circa 1914 …most however associate it with being a drill instructor hat or cover for the Marines

When you got to the Archie Bunker's chair display did you say something about Glenn Beck claiming to have the whole original set including the chair ? Because I always heard the original chair was in the Smithsonian , and it was donated to them when Carroll O'Connor was still alive . No, I said Glenn beck bought the set from All In the Family. Smithsonian only has the chair
@@DazewithJordantheLion Okay , I was in the middle of doing something while listening and missed part of what you said . Thanks , enjoyed the video !!
That Clemente jersey alone is millions of dollars I'm sure.
Very interesting
