I live in central London and the atmosphere on weekend mob -march days is not nice . My friend /neighbour who is Jewish now worries about going out on those days just in case she looks too physically Jewish even though she wears no items of jewellery /clothing that would immediately mark her out as Jewish . It is really becoming that scary .

This is going to lead to serious unrest if it's allowed to continue . It will make "the troubles " Northern Ireland experienced seem like "a picnic in the park " in comparison . This sectarian unrest/bloodshed will effect everywhere in the UK .

Matt Goodwin is telling the government how to resolve this. But I fear labour will capitulate even more. Most people are disturbed by what we are seeing on our streets. There is a threat from radical Islamists. Looking the other way won't resolve this. I'm pleased European countries are at last trying to address this. Now we need our politicians to put their big pants on and do something. We don't want sectarianism in this country

I often hear how diveristy is a strength and how we want multiple cultures but heres a thing the "English" culture is a mix of norse, saxon, celtic and norman with some side cultures like cornish and cumbrian and if you look it all coexists but these new cultures don't coexist they take over.

I live in the town and I would like to think it is a three way fight, Ali (unofficial Labour, who still as Asian Labour councillors campaigning for him!, so much for his suspension), Galloway (who is campaigning on Gaza and targeting the Muslim voters) and Danczuk (Reform) , who will attract the white voters. I live in a white area of the town, I have not seen any poster, leaflet or campaigner for Galloway or Ali at all, but I have seen posters, campaigners and other material in favour of Danczuk. The by-election as exposed the sectarianism that is developing in this country, at a local political debate the Muslims supporters of Galloway stopped Danczuk from entering the meeting and so would not him speak, in the end the debate consisted of a Galloway and the Liberal candidate, is how we want democracy to develop? In that a small number of extremist can decide who can speak in local debates and what our MP's can debate on in Parliament.

What is the difference between "radical Islamism" and "ordinary Islam" -- both groups get their religion and politics from the same books i.e. the Quran and the Hadith. I really rate Matt Goodwin and certainly agree with him that multiculturalism has never and will never work. Whatever happened to ‘when in Rome’. Many minority communities blended in and integrated noticeably 50 years ago by observing the notion of ‘when in Rome’. This is no longer the case. We must acknowledge that genuine progress and change only ever comes from the bottom. Consequently increased radicalism and discord will continue with or without the Gaza crisis. References to endangerment of our MPs is not only a very effective ruse to raise the temperature and the fear in society but most of all to successfully divide and rule the people. With the very poor standard of those elites occupying our current House of Commons our national debate will continue to be antagonistic.
Gaza is just the excuse. The Muslims don't give a damn about the suffering in Gaza.

However, I don't agree with his opinion on Lee Anderson's comments. In my view Lee did EXACTLY the right thing in forcibly ensuring discussion of the self-evident threat, as he stated was identified by the Shawcross Report.
