I am pretty sure that she’d have figured out his wish if he didn’t loop if he thought they would hate him… and if she’d had the conversation just before the King fight the others would be close enough to get him to stop and breathe. Instead she confronted him right when the loop is at its least stable. This is after he convinced himself that deviating is dangerous because he tried to talk the King down. She apologizes for yelling later.
