i personally dont have issues with dexterity issues but i DO think just having the option to make someone's life easier is worth it. Even if it cost an extra $1 It would be worth it i think.
Great idea to add the "helper zipper" choice on your store!! I appreciate you even considering that as an option. I have limited feeling and strength in my hands and feet due to Neuropathy. I always get so frustrated trying to button or zip things. Every time I buy a bag or whatever I end up buying a keychain or wristlet that I can put on the zipper to assist with opening/closing. For mistakes or machine mishaps use the seam ripper to remove the thread from your project and start all over again. A seam ripper will become your best friend, specially because you don’t want to throw away good fabric. Hope this helps
I don´t think that I really NEED the extra "help" on the zipper, but I know that I like it when the zippers HAVE that, if it´s a jacket or whatever. Beautiful bags, - you are so clever, and really inspirational.
The zipper pull would absolutely be a good option, I have tiny baby hands and could pull it fine, unless I've been crocheting more than I should, but the fact that it's also like a wristlet/handle is super helpful, like if I'm carrying my stuff somewhere it frees up a whole hand.
i think it’s really sweet that you’re being considerate of different needs! i def think you should add that option for the pull tab feature to your shop. sometimes your direct audience aren’t your only customers so it would be a nice inclusion for those who need it. 💓
also, this vid totally inspired me to get out my crochet wips and finish some of them up LOL, nice to have another crafting friend on in the background!!
People that need the zipper accessibility are not gonna be in the majority but for those people that need it having the option could be a lifesaver! Even if nobody takes the option I think it’s worth giving off the message that you think about accessibility!
I almost always add a matching ribbon or cord on my zippers even if it's for an item I bought pre-made at the store. I just like the ease of accessibility. You do an awesome job and I enjoy your channel. 😊
i would definitely suggest the pull tab add on. i personally don’t need it but i have multiple family members that would enjoy that. i also work in a nursing home as a waitress and lots of the residents bring in little bags for things like medication, hand sanitizer, tissues, etc. and we frequently have to open bags and medication holders for people. there was a lady that would have yarn tied onto all her bags. i think family members would definitely buy them for their older relatives. also my dad always steals my makeup bags when we travel and complains about having big meaty man hands 💀

But me personally I don't have a problem using zippers, but I think it would be a great idea to make the tab an option, like in case if others have dexterity problems or even if they have long nails and can't grab the zippers. I know whenever I have long nails i have a huge problem grabbing zippers.
it looks like the metal loop on the wristlets would fit into the smaller zipper hole, so maybe an option to bundle them together and you'll attach the wristlet as a pull tab would work well for accessibility? your videos are very fun!

Something I do when I'm ironing for straps/tiny things is I use a straightener! Less burns that way

That would be a great idea to help use a zipper. Try other shapes; maybe like your wristlets, but thinner.
