I've seen Mr. Fogerty in concert three times, '86, '97, '98. In '86 he was not singing CCR songs, but he did play "Centerfield" using his baseball bat guitar, someone from the audience threw a Red Sox hat on stage and he put it on(I live just south of Boston, the year the Sox lost to the Mets). In '97 we saw him again, and I was so excited cause he was singing CCR. After one of his very rare love songs, it was a little quiet, and I am told ( I was quite drunk) that I screamed out...Fortunate fucking Sonnnnn....and I guess he looked at his band, as if to say, what the hell, and they played it. Which they would have anyway ,I think. Anyway, it was a Sunday night concert and I had taken the next day off. I wore my contact lenses to the concert and went to sleep with them still in. Monday morning my phone rang, I fumbled to find the phone cause the lenses were dried onto my eyeballs and when I tried to say hello, I had no voice, lost it screaming the night before. The next year I was completely sober, maybe a joint, and it was a great concert. Sorry for the long post!
these are Priceless... i Know John realizes... his kids kinda do..know it is important for their dad...but later,... they will watch them over and over... as will we all... Bless ya'll..peace..THx Fogerty Factory!!!...=]
I thought Lodi was just a metaphor until I drove through Lodi, CA. One of the few songs that makes me smile and cry at the same time. John Fogerty is an American songwriting icon.
I think 1968 was the actual peak year (all round, all things considered, all things being equal). I think 1968 was probably THE craziest year to have ever lived. (Sadly, I was born in the 70s).
Tippin' my hat to that Jeremy Miller. Same here in Ireland. Fookin' luv that guy. Can't believe i missed CCR live along the road. These fireside family seshes are a God send during COVID-19 lockdown. Keep well John, family and World. 💚
The wheel goes round. I was a teenager back in the '60s when John Fogerty and Creedence happened, and I bought every single record. Never saw them play live unfortunately. But now all these years later----- in the middle of this coronavirus crisis---- I'm watching John Fogerty playing with his kids. Doesn't get any better than this!
Hi John. I am Mexican and I have always admired the gift that life gave you. Thank you for sharing the gift that God gave you with us. Truly, every time we listen to you, you fill us with joy in our hearts. I hope that another you will emerge in our time.
Do you notice Johns son with the orange shirt... he is identical to his father, especially when John was his age..... fantastic family..... I do believe his current wife Julie only the mother of the daughter.....
I rode on the back of my Uncle's 175 Honda motorcycle in 1968 to see John Fogerty at the Civic auditorium in Omaha. I have listened to Cosmos Factory a million times. And seen the Vegas show in 2018. Keep on chuglin.
I live in Lodi, Italy. Lodi has actually been the origin of the covid in Italy. So, definitely, I fell stuck in Lodi too. This song is a real masterpiece!
Back in '69 we were all learning to play guitar by listening to CCR, or at least singing along. It's just as good today, and it's good to see John still at it in good form. Thank you!
STILL the best! Been trying to imitate you since I was 12, I’m 62, nope! Standing on the porch playing and grandma in a chair in the yard clapping. Great memories! Thanks!!!
69er here. Creedence was my go to band - playing the same old records, singles and tapes until UA-cam, when I finally got CCR video! I extend my thanks to you and your family, and a massive thank you during this Lock Down.
In my first year of high school in 1970 I bought my first LP record - Cosmos Factory here in Sydney Australia. Still have it. To hear the Fogerty Family performing CCR classics at this time 50years later from home is as wonderful as the first time I played Cosmos Factory. John and family, thank you so much!
Sad, that its impossible, to give five thumps up for this👍🏻. So great, to watch the Fogerty Family play together. Great to hear Fogerty's wonderful Hits these days.
John, Thank you for sharing these little family singings. Love them alot. You are the greatest R&R singer, writer and band ever. God Bless you and I Thank the Lord for your talent He gave you. Stay safe
Thanks guys!! Been a huge fan since 68 ... and was fortunate enough to see Creedence in the early 70's in Auckland NZ. Life time fan of all your work John.
I mean.. I listen to CCR everyday. I think those times were beautiful. But. These times, playing with family with songs that you played over the years, is just golden. No worrying about recording companies, no worrying about the band falling apart, just happiness all over the place!
You and your family playing and making beautiful music makes my heart sing. The perfect tonic for these difficult times. We must go back to a simpler way of life, reconnect with are families in real time, not virtually time.Keep them family videos coming, peace and joy
Hello, Mr Fogerty. Many dear greetings from germany ! I can tell you that I was born in 57 and grew up with your music and respectively with CCR. But above all I am happy that you are still actively making music... stay fit, vital and healthy so that you will remain with us for a long time with your immortal songs! With best wishes; One of your many old german fans......
I'm sitting here watching this in my office at Kustom Signals Inc. The Kustom amps like the one behind John's head were made mostly by hand right here in this building. We don't make amps anymore, that business was sold to Gretsch or Baldwin (Not sure which) many years ago. They're collectors items now.
I've always loved you as long as I can remember never get tired of your music and God bless you and your family and thank you for being you. Keep rocking brother we want another 50 years from you please
I am 28 and grew up with the Music and love to play it even teaching and showing younger kids CCR via Rock Band in my Gaming Bar :D Thanks for taking the time at home playing awesome music

Was it a b- side? Did they bring it out on a album? I seen him perform this somewhere else, and he said this was the other side of bad moon rising. What a great song✌️

It must be endlessly pleasurable for John to sing these songs with his children. No record company telling him what to do, just John and his family.
And it's endlessly pleasurable for the rest of the world as well - Thanks John and your kids, Loved it!

If rock music is stuck in 1969 forever then I'm good. 1969 is the best year in music.
I say 69 & 70, the two best years for music, IMO👍✌
67 through 71 or so was the best. Sometime around 78, it went south and we have the garbage that we have today.
I’m 68. 1965-1975 was the best 10 year period for music IMHO.
I think 1968 was the actual peak year (all round, all things considered, all things being equal). I think 1968 was probably THE craziest year to have ever lived. (Sadly, I was born in the 70s).
1966 to 1977 would be the best
