Winning one Military Cross is a very rare achievement, requiring witnessed acts of extreme bravery. To win two is astonishing. It's fantastic that Queen Camilla is now the Chief. So nice to see so many laughing & enjoying her banter was heartwarming. Prince Edward does look much better. It was obvious that losing his Mother affected him deeply.

I’m pretty sure that is how the Royal ladies fashion choices work. The ladies dress to coordinate/honor the military branch unit they are visiting, not the other way around.
Definitely Camillas outfit was made to match the Lancers outfit, down to the chain mail on the shoulders, which was to deflect blows from weapons.

I love Queen Camilla's look. I love when the Royal ladies wear military-inspired clothing to their military patronages. I think that's what Sophie's coat was lacking when she inspected the French troops not so long ago in my opinion.

I have always liked Beatrice :} also I love her fashion choices of late. The colours and styles really suit her. I loved the way William and Catherine chose to deal with the photo for their sons birthday. He looks so sweet. They used their own social media to put it out there and thanked all the well wishers that have been supportive. It kind of stuck it to the main press! New boundaries now. Good for them :}

New York here....we have several corgi's in my building and many more in the neighborhood....they are darling dogs...
The corgi puppy in my building loves my 65 pound dog....fearless...
They're a herding breed, so they were bred to face much larger animals. From everything I know about the breed, they have absolutely no fear.
It's funny because one of the Corgis (0:48) is sitting beside the statue of a Corgi, giving it the side glance like he's not sure if he's friend or foe.
When I was dog sitting my friend's Shish Tzu, I had her on the bed w/me in a room that had a stuffed mountain goat head on the wall. I couldn't figure out why she wouldn't relax and then I realized she was afraid of the goat! AW!!!!
So, I threw a towel over the goat and POOF...just like that...she was fine! Out of sight, out of mind, lol!💓🐕💓

Princess Beatrice has become quite the woman ever since marrying. Her style has improved I've seen her more involved in charities what I'm trying to say is I really do like her. I would like to see Princess Beatrice as a working Royal I think she would do a wonderful job. She's not Eugenie.
I am so thrilled that Prince William and Princess Catherine stuck it to the media and posted Louie's beautiful 6-year-old birthday photo on the Royal website. No media Outlet got the chance to put it on the front page and make thousands and thousands of sales. I wish they would have put a watermark across it saying not to be rebroadcast
Thoughtful comment, though I cannot believe Prince and Princess of Wales intentionally "stuck" it to the media. They just do not strike me as being petty. I was delighted to see a private (versus a staged portrait) picture of Prince Louis released on his 6th birthday. Nobody captures the spirit of a "subject" in a photograph better than a photographer who knows and loves the person being photographed. Just my thoughts. Hope you have a happy day. Take care.

I think what we call sticking it to the media, they call setting boundaries between their personal life and photos and their professional roles and professional photos. Social media allows direct communication with us and I love that - it is more personal!!! But in my heart I am always going to think of it as 'sticking it to the man' (there is a song) and hope that they are deliberately teaching the media a lesson about reciprocity.
I absolutely love Camilla, since Charles got sick and stepped into his place ,this shows a very hands on compassionate side to her .She is obviously very proud of her father ❤ I also love how she has upped her wardrobe both in colors and style . 😊❤

🌹 The statue of Queen Elizabeth II and her Corgis was unveiled 21 April 2024 in Oakham, Rutland 🌹 It would've been the Queen's 98 birthday 🌹 and my Mum's 87 birthday 🌹
Rutland is the smallest county in the UK.
Oakham is about 20 miles from where I live.
I believe that the statue was funded by the people of the local community, showing their love and respect .

The statue is a great tribute to the Queen, and you and your county should be proud of what you have achieved.
The photo with the people surrending the statue with their corgis is so representative of The Late Queen. She was the queen of the people, not a snobby bone in her. Made me choke. I miss her so much.

When you see photographs of Camilla, Catherine, and Sophie, the people around them are smiling and relaxed. That really says everything about these excellent women. They all have natural warmth and genuine interest in the people they meet.

I think Beatrice will do well. I watched her in an interview about Dyslexia. She seemed self-effacing, yet dedicated and passionate about her project. She's a very genuine person.

Beatrice has my sincere admiration. In spite of being dyslexic, she managed to achieve a good degree in History and history of Ideas from Goldsmith’s college, University of London in 2011. She has publicly acknowledged the help given to her by the Helen Arkle Educational Charity and continues to support them and their work to this day..

I have enjoyed the Welsh Corgi League’s appearances over the years celebrating the late Queen. I’m a long time corgi owner (both breeds) although now I content myself with being an auntie to a spirited fluffy tri girl.

They are a dwarf breed, so they really are a medium sized dog on short legs.

You got me thinking! Meghan didn’t want to use royal doctors( although we probably know why), she was demanding about what she ate, yet in grandmother in law was in her upper 90’s and working full time. I would look at that and say, yep I want to stay healthy and active, she would accuse others of falling short. Yet look at the royal family, how do you think you know better we know cancer doesn’t care, little babies get it ( btw. Housewives is doing a fundraiser for St. Jude, one of my favorites, this week).

I don't believe for a minute that any business idea is due to this grifter. Wonderful statue, and I am delighted they chose a younger Queen. The Crown series may have its 'accuracy' issues, but I preferred the earlier seasons where I got to imagine that age Queen, serious but yet young, learning a new role and carrying a heavy burden without complaint or excuse. My lifetime did not let me view that age Queen, so having her always depicted in her later years misses the energy and hope of those years. The wisdom we saw was built upon that foundation.
